About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps practices, manage a small team, and build functional, scalable systems that enhance customer experience. You will be responsible for deployments, automation, troubleshooting, integrations, monitoring, and team mentoring while ensuring secure and efficient operations.

Mandatory Skills :

Linux Administration, Shell Scripting, CI/CD (Jenkins), Git/GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Database Administration (MariaDB/MySQL/MongoDB), Apache httpd/Tomcat, HAProxy, Nagios, Keepalived, Monitoring/Logging/Alerting, and On-premise Server Management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement and manage integrations as per business and customer needs.
• Deploy product updates, fixes, and enhancements.
• Provide Level 2 technical support and resolve production issues.
• Build tools to reduce errors and improve system performance.
• Develop scripts and automation for CI/CD, monitoring, and visualization.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement long-term fixes.
• Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems are in place.
• Manage on-premise servers and ensure smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams for system integration.
• Mentor and guide a team of 3 to 4 engineers.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with team management exposure.
• Strong expertise in:
• Linux Administration & Shell Scripting
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar)
• Git/GitHub, branching, and code repository standards
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible
• Database administration (MariaDB, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Web servers (Apache httpd, Apache Tomcat)
• Networking & Load Balancing tools (HAProxy, Keepalived)
• Monitoring & alerting tools (Nagios, logging frameworks)
• On-premise server management
• Strong debugging, automation, and system troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of security best practices including data encryption.

What You'll Do

 Troubleshooting and analyzing technical issues raised by internal and external users.

 Working with Monitoring tools like Prometheus / Nagios / Zabbix.

 Developing automation in one or more technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Puppet, Chef will be preferred.

 Monitor infrastructure alerts and take proactive action to avoid downtime and customer impacts.

 Working closely with the cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

 Test, build, design, deployment, and ability to maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery process using tools like Jenkins, maven Git, etc.

 Work in close coordination with the development and operations team such that the application is in line with performance according to the customer's expectations.

What you should have

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or any related field.

 3 - 6 years of experience in Linux / Unix, cloud computing techniques.

 Familiar with working on cloud and datacenter for enterprise customers.

 Hands-on experience on Linux / Windows / Mac OS’s and Batch/Apple/Bash scripting.

 Experience with various databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL.

 Familiar with AWS technologies like EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, etc.

 Must know how to choose the best tools and technologies which best fit the business needs.

 Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes using tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins etc.

 Excellent organizational skills to adapt to a constantly changing technical environment

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps including automated system configuration, application deployment, and infrastructure-as-code. 
• Advanced Linux system administration abilities. 
• Real-world experience managing large-scale AWS or GCP environments. Multi-account management a plus. 
• Experience with managing production environments on AWS or GCP. 
• Solid understanding CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, CircleCI/Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory/Nexus. 
• Experience on any configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef is a must. 
• Experience in any one of the scripting languages: Shell, Python, etc. 
• Experience in containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes/EKS/GKE is a must. 
• Solid understanding of SSL and DNS. 
• Experience on deploying and running any open-source monitoring/graphing solution like Prometheus, Grafana, etc. 
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Always adhere to security best practices.
• Knowledge on Bigdata (Hadoop/Druid) systems administration will be a plus.  
• Knowledge on managing and running DBs (MySQL/MariaDB/Postgres) will be an added advantage.

• Implement security best practices – primarily patching of operating systems and applications 
• Automate everything. Build proactive monitoring and alerting tools. Provide standards, documentation, and coaching to developers.
• Participate in 12x7 on-call rotations 
• Work with third party service/support providers for installations, support related calls, problem resolutions etc. 

Job Summary: We are looking for a senior DevOps engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. They will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Utilise various open source technologies & build independent web based tools, microservices and solutions
• Write deployment scripts 
• Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, ElasticSearch, etc
• Configure and deploy pipelines for various microservices using CI/CD tools
• Automated server monitoring setup & HA adherence
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers where integrations are required
• Work with company personnel to define technical problems and requirements, determine solutions, and implement those solutions.
• Work with product team  to design automated pipelines to support SaaS delivery and operations in cloud platforms.
• Review and act on the Service requests, Infrastructure requests and Incidents logged by our Implementation teams and clients. Identifying, analysing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Modifying and improving existing systems. Suggest process improvements and implement them.
• Collaborate  with Software Engineers to help them deploy and operate different systems, also help to automate and streamline company's operations and processes.
• Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.

Key Skills

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems.
• 3+ years of experience in managing Linux based cloud microservices infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with databases including MySQL. 
• Experience OS tuning and optimizations for running databases and other scalable microservice solutions 
• Proficient working with git repositories and git workflows
• Able to setup and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent troubleshooting, working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
