As a Flutter Developer, you will be in charge of reviewing the software specifications and UI mockups, developing a cross-browser mobile application from scratch, and leading the application testing effort. You'll work alongside a backend Developer, as well as a UI designer to ensure you create high-performing applications with a smooth user experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying software in the Flutter framework and Dart language.

2. Developing user interface components and implementing them by following well-known Flutter / Dart workflows and 

  practices.

3. Communicating with product and engineering leads to implement business and project objectives.

4. Code review of team members' commits as part of CI/CD cycle.

5. Participate in testing, quality assurance and bug fixes as part of the CI/CD cycle.

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly and efficient mobile solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
2. Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to define and implement features.

4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high quality and performance.
5. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

8. Work in an Agile development environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
9. Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure proper testing and delivery of bug-free applications.
10. Continuously improve development processes and contribute to the overall improvement of the Android development team.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in Android app development using Kotlin.
3. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
4. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
5. Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
6. Proficient in version control systems such as Git.
7. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
10. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Additional Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with Android Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).
2. Knowledge of reactive programming using frameworks like RxJava or Kotlin Coroutines.
3. Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Koin.
4. Understanding of Material Design guidelines and UI/UX principles.
5. Experience with automated testing frameworks like Espresso or JUnit.
6. Knowledge of software development best practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
7. Prior experience working on large-scale mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and build our native Android application using Java or Kotlin.
• Set up our backend using either the MEAN (Mongo, Node) or Django stack.
• Collaborate with the design team on feasibility and design reviews.
• Set up DevOps processes - CI/CD and release management.
• Hire an additional backend engineer to scale the application based on requirements.

Requirements:

• You possess strong computer science fundamentals.
• You have native Android application development skills - with Java/Kotlin as a framework.
• You have strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• You have built backends for mobile applications - using the MEAN or Django stack.
• You have some mobile app projects that are worthy of public view (Play Store, Github).

What YOU must have

• 3-5 years’ experience with native mobile App development on both Android as well as iOS platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in information systems or computer science
• Excellent knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, iOS framework
• Strong knowledge of Android & iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
• Should have worked on Apps using local resources (like camera, GPS, Speech recorder, settings etc) and having local storage capability using SQLite, xml, firebase etc.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with various testing tools
