At Tiluf, We are looking for a React Native & Android native (Java + Kotlin) expert, who is extremely passionate about exploring and learning new areas and interested in working on a new-age hyper-reality social network that's changing how people interact with others around them and working on AI/Ml based parallels in collaboration with "Meta" around body augmentation and generative AI in AR.

Mandatory:

• Previous experience and expertise working with React-native and Android native: > 3 years
• Experience in writing node modules/bridges
• Should be comfortable with relocating to Bangalore. Team Tiluf greatly enjoys working together in the same office space.

Location: Tiluf, opp. JPMorgan, Marathalli, Bangalore.

Responsibilities:

• Making the Tiluf exosystem more efficient, scalable, instant, and user-friendly so that it can cater to millions of users around the world.
• Working in collaboration with "Meta" on AI/Ml based parallels focusing on body augmentation and generative AI in AR.
• Working on improving the in-house XR technology.
• Designing architecture for the system to make it more efficient and scalable.
• Collaborating with UI/UX team for making a world-class user experience
• Collaborating with the Marketing team to make automated marketing in-app flows.
• Collaborating with the Community team to make the product as engaging as possible.

Required Skills:

• Coding Ninja - great at writing logic and designing architecture.
• Expertise in native Android(Java + kotlin)
• Knowledge and interest in AI/Ml - https://developers.google.com/ar/develop/java/machine-learning - This will be the starting point
• Expertise in React Native
• Rock-solid at working with and writing native modules/bridges.
• Always motivated to take the lead and learn new things.
• 3 + years of a firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax, and have the ability to write well-documented clean Javascript code.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Redux-saga, AsyncStorage

What will you do? (but not limited to)

• Design, develop, and maintain our mobile applications using either Flutter or React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across both Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the product and development teams to design and develop innovative features that align with our mission and user needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices, and conduct code reviews to uphold high-quality code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the software to ensure optimal performance, security, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and improvement.
• Drive architectural decisions and lead efforts to scale and improve our codebases.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address their needs, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Who can apply?

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mobile Application Developer with a proven track record in developing and deploying mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Proficiency in React Native, with a deep understanding of cross-platform mobile development and app architecture.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (for React Native), and familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ, and other IDEs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think algorithmically and a keen eye for debugging and optimizing code.
• Experience with app development languages such as Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C and with utilizing RESTful APIs for backend integration.
• Proficient understanding and utilizing code versioning tools, such as Bitbucket.
• Experience in a startup environment and building products from scratch is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions based on a balance of data, experience, and judgment.

Required:

1. A minimum of 1 years of consulting and/or relevant industry experience
2. Understanding of Android Framework and Android app development.
3. Experience in developing android apps using Kotlin and latest frameworks
4. Knowledge and understanding of Design-Patterns and Data Structures.
5. Ability to develop Android applications using latest Frameworks like Retrofit, RxJava
6. Ability to write Unit test cases using the frameworks.
7. Knowledge about how to consume the REST API's
8. Understanding of Git/BitBucket or any version control system
9. Good written and verbal communication skills.
10. B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MSC/MS

Preferred:

1. Understanding and usage of latest android frameworks like JetPack, Android Architectural components
2. Experience in mentoring the new team members and also the junior folks.
3. Exposure to various mobile architectures (ex: MVC, MVP, MVVM, etc..)
4. Experience in handling the Android app deployment process.
5. Experience in working in Agile methodology

React Native Developer 

Responsibility:

• Building user friendly Android and iOS Apps on React Native platform.
• Designing state-less components in React Native. State management with any of Redux, mobX or Flux.
• Writing modular, reusable, maintainable, well documented and fully tested code.
• Converting designs to mobile applications.
• Integrating with Rest APIs, while collaborating with Backend deve.
• Take complete ownership of the apps and change various elements/ technologies as per business need.
