Capable of designing end-to-end test cases.

Strong in negative, edge-case, and performance scenarios coverage.

Process Knowledge:

Familiar with Agile ceremonies (Grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and QA roles and responsibilities.

Can contribute effectively in bug triage and RCA discussions.

Design test plans, write test cases, review functional requirement documentation, and present test strategies for team review

• Conduct integration, regression, ad-hoc, and edge-case testing as part of release cycles
• Analyze complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system
• Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions
• Participate in release management and post deployment testing
• Work closely with developer team to ensure proper test coverage is done
• Documentation and Release cycle

Responsibilities

1-Should have played a vital role in Setting up Automation Frameworks, Processes, and Standards.

2-Expert proficiency in automation scripting using Java or other scripting languages.

3-Experience in using automation tools like Selenium/Webdriver, Sikuli, Junit/JMeter, etc.

4-Good expertise in System, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Ad-Hoc, Browser Compatibility, and Interface testing.

5-Prepare test case for Functional, Non-Functional, Integration and Usability, UI.

6-Experienced with a defect and bug tracking tools like Bugzilla, JIRA, etc.

7-Hands on experience in Test Planning, Test designing, and Test Execution, Defect Tracking & Defect Reporting.

8-Experience working in an agile development environment and scrum methodologies.

9- Involvement in setting up Test Environments, Requirements Management, Requirement Analysis.

10-Good understanding of database.

11-Should have experience in API testing.

Qualifications

Education: B.E/B.Tech BCA/MCA

• Creating detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Writing manual test cases for the application against the requirements
• Handling the testing project independently
• Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures
• Verifying test result and logging defect in the tool

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Must have 2- 4 years of manual testing experience in Embedded Systems
• 3-6 years Embedded QA engineering experience
• Expertise in Functional and System Testing
• Experience in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C etc
• Experience in handling the LAB equipments for the embedded devices
• Strong hands-on in embedded product testing
• Knowledge of Audio Testing is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
