Job Brief :

We are currently hiring a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building API interfaces and backend infrastructure and collaborating with UI, connectivity and DevOps teams to come up with elegant solutions to complex problems.

Main Responsibilities of a Ruby on Rails Developer :

Your responsibilities will include :

• Writing effective and scalable Ruby codes
• Designing and implementing robust applications
• Debugging applications to ensure low latency and high-availability
• Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Integrating data storage solutions
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

Key Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• You have prior experience with Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
• Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapper), RESTful
• Familiarity with various testing tools and ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Good problem-solving skills

Role & Responsibilities -:

1. Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel
2. Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming & Restful API
3. Strong knowledge of Akamai CDN, Redis, AWS services
4. Understanding of LAMP and MVC design patterns
5. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, JS

framework

1. Knowledge of Payment Gateway
2. Familiarity with MySQL/ PgSQL/ Mongo databases
3. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
4. Understanding accessibility and security compliance
5. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
6. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and

environments

Skills:

1. Building and maintenance of applications.
2. Extensive understanding of project management processes, principles and

methodologies.

1. Writing maintainable and high performance code.
2. Keeping up with the trends in technology and being up for challenges.

Qualification:

1. B. Tech in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
2. Master’s degree in Computer Applications /M Tec. would be preferred.

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby On Rails.
• Strong Project & Time Management Skills, along with the ability to apply these skills while working independently, or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, smart contracts and cryptocurrency will be an added advantage
• Experience in fintech domain will be another added advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
• Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Java, PHP, or Python, and operating systems may be required.

Must have -

1- Magento 2 working experience for minimum 2 years

2- Work with Magento integration systems, viz CMS/CRM/Payment gatway/shipping etc

3- Analyse, code, debug, test, document & deploy application

4- Experiance building REST API

5- Knowledge of GTM and FB integration

Good to have-

1- Magento 2 certification

2- Experience in fronted tech like HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and ReactJS

3- Experience of working on PWA apps
