Role Overview: 

We are looking for a Sr. Node Developer who not only possesses extensive backend expertise but also demonstrates proficiency in system design, cloud services, microservices architecture, and containerization. (Additionally, a good understanding of frontend tech stack to give support to frontend developers is highly valued) We're currently seeking a seasoned Senior Node.js Engineer who not only possesses extensive backend expertise but also demonstrates proficiency in system design, cloud services, microservices architecture, and containerization. (Additionally, a good understanding of frontend tech stack to give support to frontend developers is highly valued) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reusable, testable, maintainable, and scalable code with a focus on unit testing.
• Implement robust security measures and data protection mechanisms across projects.
• Champion the implementation of design patterns such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Actively participate in architecture design sessions and sprint planning meetings, contributing valuable insights.
• Lead code reviews, providing insightful comments and guidance to team members.
• Mentor team members, assisting in debugging complex issues and providing optimal solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience: 4+yrs
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, including core concepts and best practices.
• Extensive experience in developing highly scalable services and APIs using various protocols.
• Proficiency in data modeling and optimizing database performance in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, leveraging technologies like TypeORM, Sequelize, or Knex.
• Proficient in working with frameworks like NestJS, LoopBack, Express, and other TypeScript-based frameworks.
• Strong familiarity with unit testing libraries such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai.
• Expertise in code versioning using Git or Bitbucket.
• Practical experience with Docker for building and deploying microservices.
• Strong command of Linux, including familiarity with server configurations.
• Familiarity with queuing protocols and asynchronous messaging systems.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with frontend JavaScript concepts and frameworks such as ReactJS.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud architectures, particularly on AWS services.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and its associated libraries like Apollo and Prisma.
• Hands-on experience with deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with document, key/value, or other non-relational database systems like Elasticsearch, Redis, and DynamoDB.
• Ability to build AI-centric applications and work with machine learning models, Langchain, vector databases, embeddings, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Expert in Python, with knowledge of Python web framework - Django
• Familiarity with backend automated testing tools and frameworks
• Experience with backend/API development
• Architect, develop and maintain backend libraries/codebase, database & server.
• Develop object-oriented software, with mastery of one or more relevant languages (Django).
• Evaluate competitive and innovative products and design approaches to identify best practices and encourage innovation.
• Understanding the requirement of a client, document the scope and chart out a plan of implementing the scope
• Work with design team to give inputs related to the wire-frames and then the design along with incorporating Client Feedback
• Explore the difference between B2B and B2C projects before implementing the code
• Work in teams of 2-3 on various projects as per the requirement using git as version control
• Having good knowledge of APIs creation and database architecture
• Good Grasp in respective technology (Django)
• Documenting the process and main functions along the developing process
• Design and develop highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidance for one of the fastest-growing companies in India.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience required
• Strong hand on Django-Python
• Excellent knowledge of using the Git version control system and deployment via Git.
• You have creative visualization, critical thinking, deductive & pragmatic reasoning and can think out-of-the-box
• Ability to quickly adapt & independently work in a fast-paced Agile environment with minimum supervision.
• A self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative, who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend action.

Responsibilities

• Use your skills in OOP, OOAD, and testing to design and develop robust and scalable software.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on writing production-quality code and tests.
• Maintain minimal yet essential engineering documentation to complement the product.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams as part of Agile delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and release cycles with an ownership attitude.

Requirements

• Strong at problem-solving using Java 8 and above.
• General understanding of SDLC using agile methodologies iterative development.
• Basic skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are desired.
• Hands-on knowledge of using Spring Boot or Quarkus for building Microservices or API driven solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience in using any RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Understanding or exposure to Cloud-Native development using AWS is an added advantage.
