MERN Stack developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Founding Engineer to join our innovative team in Mumbai. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape our technology and product direction, leveraging your expertise in full-stack development using React.js, Node.js, and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user-friendly frontend applications using React to enhance user experience.
• Develop robust server-side applications and APIs with Node.js to support our business logic and data processing needs.
• Manage and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance while querying and updating data.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management and UX/UI to deliver cohesive product features.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development, maintaining high-quality code.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues across the stack, ensuring a smooth operation of our applications.
• Contribute to the architecture and roadmap of our technology platform, helping to define future iterations based on user feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on React.js, Node.js, and MySQL.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Proficient in database management and design, particularly in MySQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Passion for building innovative and scalable applications that meet user needs.

• Must have knowledge in Angular or React frontend and Node JS
• Write reusable, testable, efficient code
• Knowledge of creating front-end applications using HTML5, CSS, and Javascript.
• Candidates should have Knowledge of recent Angular versions and should be comfortable working independently.
• Should have working experience with database modeling, ability to plan DB schema and write queries with ease(MongoDB, MYSQL, Redis)
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Comfortable working with Git/Github
• Ability and willingness to manage multiple projects and tasks.

What you’ll do

• Build the backend and deploy systems powering the app
• Improve routing across 10+ cities for everything from walking to trains to electric scooters to metro to bus to auto to bike
• Integrate new private transport companies and new ways of getting about our cities
• Develop smarter ways of integrating the payment systems with the app
• Extract, process and crunch together departure times, travel habits, and pricing information and suggest reliable results to users
• Create experiences that delight your friends, family, and millions of new commuters when they come and visit your city
• Design and build systems that scale on demand and are secure
• Deploy and support your code on AWS
• Best practices: code reviews, tests, CI
• Teach us how to be better our Stack (Required) Java (Spring Boot), Postgres, MongoDB, ReactJs, Golang Microservice Nginx, API Gateway, Load Balancer, Kafka, Redis, Websockets, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, AWS - EC2, RDS, s3, lambda Optional Nodejs(Express)

At BigRadar we automated consumer interactions using Chatbots. You'll be working in the backend to create services to make it happens. Obviously, we're looking for self-driven individuals who're proud of their code and do care about no more spaces.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience.
• Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in front end framework like Angular (preferred) or React.
• Expertise in back-end programming language JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJs.
• Working with RDBMS such as Postgres or MySQL.
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Appreciation for clean and well-documented code.
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience working with AWS infrastructure.
• Docker or Kubernetes.
• Message queues such as Kafka.
• CI/ CD tools such as Jenkins.

Major Responsibility/ Job Responsibility:    

Strong knowledge with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Mybatis)

Strong core Java 7 or Java 8 skills (with good understanding of multithreading and performance tuning)

Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns.

Strong experience in Architecture & Designing, Web services (Rest or SOAP)

Good knowledge on Jasper Reports, iReports & XML

Strong understanding and experience on JavaScript (object oriented), AJAX, JQuery, Anuglar 2 or 4, Primefaces

Good knowledge on SQL and PL/SQL for Postgres, Oracle database

Good understanding of application and web servers – JBOSS, TOMCAT, JETTY

Hands- on experience for Eclipse IDE

Self-learner willing to experiment with latest features

Team player, willing to take responsibility and contribute

Experience in Waterfall/Agile development

Good communication skills both written and oral.

Hands on Experience with Unit Testing of Application using Junit Framework.
