Quantitative R&D Engineer

As a Quantitative R&D Engineer, you’ll explore data and design logic that becomes live trading strategies. You’ll bridge the gap between raw research and deployed, autonomous capital systems.

Job Description : Blockchain Data & ML Engineer

As a Blockchain Data & ML Engineer, you’ll work on ingesting and modelling on-chain behaviour, building scalable data pipelines, and designing systems that support intelligent, autonomous market interaction.

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for ingesting and processing blockchain data.

About the Role

Join the Blockchain Backend Infrastructure team and take a position in building and maintaining a leading blockchain management platform. You'll be responsible for building cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure while implementing high-throughput, real-time scalable software solutions.

As a Blockchain Engineer, you will be instrumental in the research and integration of blockchain technologies into the platform. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with foundations and developers to gain a deep understanding of blockchain protocols and on-chain projects, then applying that knowledge to implement new features within the platform.

We are looking to onboard a lead for our blockchain engineering team. At Arcana we are building our own sovereign EVM compatible chain with its own set of validators. Security, Scalability and Interoperability are the primary goals of the blockchain and we're looking to put together some of the best minds to achieve this. We build products for both internal and external use to uncover alpha opportunities in different areas of crypto markets, including trading both on centralized and decentralized exchanges (DeFi) and building systems to streamline order execution, gather and digest complex timeseries data streams.

We are looking for a DeFi Software Engineer who has a deep understanding of blockchain and is curious about algorithmic trading. You should be excited about making sense of large quantities of data, and decision modelling on time series, real-time data.

• Designing, building and testing smart contracts and related infrastructure
