The Software Developer Senior Designs, builds, tests, and – most importantly – ships high-value software that solves real problems. Strives for security, performance, simplicity, usability, and maintainability. Mentors and guides less experienced software engineers.

Responsibilities

1. Team Contribution

• Works within established agile methods, promoting an atmosphere of continuous improvement.
• Continuously learns new technologies and patterns and practices.
• Documents knowledge for the benefit of the team.
• Reports to the team on obstacles and roadblocks.
• Participates in, and occasionally leads, sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other team meetings.

2. Planning and Design

• Works with the product team and stakeholders to refine and document requirements.
• Estimates effort for planning purposes.
• Designs and documents enterprise-level software architecture, consulting with Enterprise Architecture when appropriate.

3. Development

• Writes code to develop software that meets requirements and specifications.
• Follows established software development life cycle (SLDC).
• Writes code with readability and future maintenance in mind.
• Follows established source control standards and best practices.
• Adheres to established secure coding practices.
• Reviews code for other developers.
• Leads team-based development efforts.

4. Quality Assurance

• Validates QA findings and fixes defects.
• Develops integration and testing points in the software that allow for QA testing.
• Assists QA in running performance and load tests.

5. Release

• Assists with release planning and releases.

6. Support

• Assists the support team as needed, including root cause analysis.
• Writes maintenance and metric statistics scripts and entry points for measuring and monitoring.

Requiremets and Responsibilities- (please read carefully before applying)

• The overall experience of 3-6 years in Java/Python Framework and Machine Learning.
• Develop Web Services, REST, XSD, XML technologies, Java, Python, AWS, API.
• Experience on Elastic Search or SOLR or Lucene -Search Engine, Text Mining, Indexing.
• Experience in highly scalable tools like Kafka, Spark, Aerospike, etc.
• Hands on experience in Design, Architecture, Implementation, Performance & Scalability, and Distributed Systems.
• Design, implement, and deploy highly scalable and reliable systems.
• Troubleshoot Solr indexing process and querying engine.
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science from Tier 1 Institutions

• Key areas of responsibilities:- 
• Maintenance and enhancements of current websites.
• System requirement gathering, development, testing and maintenance for new websites or applications.
• Managing user access to the various components of the company’s IT infrastructure based on an assessment of the user requirement and security.
• Managing the admin section for the company’s websites.
  Creating an environment for Dreamweaver editor for users to develop applications.
• Documentation Designing a database and coordinating the UI design.
• Integrating the MySQL database with the PHP applications.
  Maintaining web-based PHP applications.
• Designing and developing applications and websites.
  Resolving issues related to PHP development in different applications.
  
  
• Experience and skills required:- 
  
  Skills : PHP, Mysql, MVC, JS, JQUERY,HTML,CSS, AJAX , WORDPRESS.
  
  Experience : Min 3 year Qualification: Any technical background (MCA, BE, MSC Computer etc)

This person MUST have:

• B.E Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 years experience with the Django framework
• Experience with building APIs (REST or GraphQL) 
• Strong Troubleshooting and debugging skills
• React.js knowledge would be an added bonus 
• Understanding on how to use a database like Postgres (prefered choice), SQLite, MongoDB, MySQL.
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented design and analysis.
• A strong passion for writing simple, clean and efficient code.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git.
• Strong communication skills.

Experience:

• Min 5 year experience
• Startup experience is a must. 

Location:

• Remote developer

Timings:

• 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone.  Typically clients are in California PST Timezone.

Position:

• Full time/Direct
