• Designation- Sr. System Test Engineer
• Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Mechatronics / MSc Electronics, Electrical

A. Skills & Technologies:

Mandatory:

• PLC Programming in Ladder/Structured Text/Function blocks.
• Configuring and commissioning Servo Drives, VFDs & Inverters.
• Experienced in Motion Control Programming in PLC for servo drives.
• Experience in Robotic (Drive Groups, Multi-Axes) programming in PLC.
• Design and Commissioning experience for Machine automation and turnkey projects,
• (including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) / Site Acceptance Test (SAT)).
• Hands On with one or more Fieldbus technologies (like Ethernet/IP, PROFINET,
• EtherCAT, Ethernet PowerLINK, CAN, PROFIBUS, ControlNET, DeviceNET).
• Configuring of PLC Backplane IOs and Remote IOs on Fieldbus.

Desirable:

• Electrical Wiring Design for Control panels.
• Experience in Manual testing.

Essential Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility would be overseeing complete Load balancing and Network Packet Broker Operation.
• Load Balancing Engineer with hands-on experience on F5 BIG-IP GTM and LTM devices as well as Citrix NetScaler.
• Hands on experience in migrating other load balancer vendors to F5 Load Balancer
• Must be an expert in F5 and Citrix Load Balancing platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Should analyse, design, implement and maintain the networks F5 and Citrix NetScaler Load Balancer infrastructure.
• Should inspect data packets and TCP, IP flow in network and application flow.
• Should possess a working knowledge of switches, routers, and firewall concepts.
• Should be able to configure and maintain F5 and Citrix Load Balancers, load balancing best practices.
• Should also take the responsibility to upgrade network operating systems software and hardware as per the management requirements.
• Must ensure that the plans are integrated effectively with the other aspects of the technical infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge of Load balancing technology including algorithms and health check options.
• Knowledge and experience regarding F5 BIG-IP LTM VIP configuration with health check.
• Knowledge and experience with F5 BIG-IP GTM Wide IP configuration.
• F5 BIG-IP iRule programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Citrix NetScaler VIP configuration with Knowledge and experience with Citrix NetScaler Global Load Balancing (Gslb) configuration.

As a thought leader and brand ambassador, the Head of the lab promotes the labs focus areas both internally and externally, embodying the qualities of leadership and innovation that inspire students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

 Vision and Strategy:

 Develop and communicate a clear vision for the Innovation Labs, aligning with the institution’s strategic objectives.

 Set strategic goals for the lab, including defining key areas of focus, innovation strategies, and research priorities.

 Ensure the labs activities contribute to the broader academic and research missions of the institution.

 Leadership and Management:

 Lead and manage a team of stream leaders, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

 Drive a culture of "learning by doing", encouraging students and mentors to engage in hands-on, experiential learning. Impact key outcomes like placements, hackathon wins, patents etc.

 Oversee the labs operations, ensuring resources are effectively allocated and managed to support its goals.

 Ensure that the academia-innovation labs gap is bridged.

What you’ll do at Ather:

A successful candidate is expected to lead the Firmware development and integration effort for various Ather products and be responsible for qualifying and integrating FW at various stages with HW. Responsibilities include:

• Understanding requirements from different stakeholders and translating these to application features

• Writing high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines

• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

• Performing functional and non-functional testing

• Troubleshooting and debugging applications

• Designing creative prototypes according to specifications

• Evaluating existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features

• Developing technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

• Identifying and communicating possible risks along with preventive and corrective measures

• Designing HW/SW integration while working with HW/Algorithms/Cloud teams to deliver an integrated solution. 

Here’s what we are looking for: 

Must have: 

• ECU Software development experience (any of the ARM based Auto ECUs Body Electronics/Infotainment/ Powertrain/Cluster) 

• Previous experience with Low level firmware, Boot loaders, Device Drivers development 

• Hands on Experience Communication Protocols CAN, I2C, SPI, RS232

• Experience with static analyser, JTAG tools etc…

• Knowledge in Assembly and compilers

• Strong testing & debugging skills, experience with logic analysers

• Language: C, C++

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of HW design for ECUs

• Experience with UDS, AutoSAR, ISO26262, MISRA Guidelines 

• Previous experience with SIL and HIL Testing as well as Test case generation for the same.

You bring to Ather:

• BE/B.tech/B.Sc is minimum req with minimum 2-6 years of prior industry experience.

Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Core PHP, CodeIgniter, Yii, Laravel.

- Strong knowledge of open source platforms like WordPress
