Lab Technician

Duties:

• Embedded Software Development in C

•Design and development of software based on Autosar architecture

• Integration & verification of the developed SW components

•Debugging and error analysis

•Create design documents

•Participate in Design & Code reviews

Qualifications:

•University degree in electrical/electronics engineering, computer science or similar

•Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development

• Solid C programming skills

• Ideally with Autosar experience

•Knowledge on Functional Safety (ISO 26262)

• Familiar with Vector tools like DaVinci Configurator, Geny, CANoe, etc..

•Knowledge of scripting tools like Python, CAPL, etc.

Basic Qualification: BE / Btech Computer Science

Desirable Skills:

1.Software development using Embedded C, C++ with programming standards (MISRA)

2.Knowledge of bus systems, which are used in the automotive industry, like CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, etc)

3.Software development processes –A-SPICE V-cycle

4.Experience with development of control units for the automotive industry, especially experience with the development based on AUTOSTAR basic software.

5. Experience in the automotive industry according to common development and parameterization tools (i.e. Vector CANoe).

6.Knowledge of standards for safety-critical software (ISO 26262) is a plus.

Role Description:

1. Work Experience: Should have work experience in Telco / ISP service Provider background
2. Should have experience in Planning and Operations of Broadband network.
3. Should Lead a Team and Manage Day to Day NOC Operation.
4. Manage Outages in the Network and Provide resolution within SLA; Handle Customer Escalation with Minimal Turnaround time.
5. Escalating Issues and Co-ordinating with vendor team on Bug fixes and Resolutions.
6. Maintain the Uptime of the network at 100%.
7. Should Monitor the Network and planning maintenance activities timely.
8. Should work on building redundancy and elimination of Point of Failures.
9. Should work on Bandwidth Management and Traffic Load Balancing Mechanism.
10. Provide backend support to cross functional teams for new provisioning and Fault Repair.
11. Should be available 24*7 for support for responding to emergency situations and planned activities.
12. Should be Responsible for Inventory Management.
13. Manage and Train NOC team, perform evaluations and hiring, and handle disciplinary responsibilities. 
14. Prepare and Maintain SOPs of critical Process; perform Process Correction on requirement basis.
15. Should analyse fault trends and plan preventive actions.
16. Should be Responsible for publishing of daily, weekly, monthly reports and statistics reports.

Technical Requirements:

1. Should have Good Knowledge of Switching and Routing.
2. Hands-on experience of BGP, MPLS, MPLS L2VPN, MPLS L3VPN, ISIS, OSPF, VLAN, DHCP, PPPoE, STP, LAN, WAN, NAT etc
3. Should have worked in Layer-2 and Layer-3 Switches, Edge Routers; preferably on Cisco and Huawei Devices.
4. Should have worked on GPON Technology and have understanding of Operation and Troubleshooting skills, hands on experience on installation and implementation of OLTs and ONTs.
5. Should have worked on NMS Tools and have understanding of SNMP Protocol.
6. Should have understanding of BNG workings principles, RADIUS and Diameter protocols.
7. Should have Good understanding of Fiber Technology.
8. Should have understanding of Wireless Technologies such as 802.1b/g/n, 802.11ac, should be able to configure WIFI routers and debug issues.
9. Must have done BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics & Electrical Engineering
10. CCNA/CCNP Certification is Preferred.

Desired Candidate profile:

• 5+ years of Embedded/Linux SW Development relevant Experience in Embedded C++. 
• Expert knowledge in writing software for embedded Systems (Embedded C++ language).
• Experience on OTA would be an added advantage
• Work experience in software development on bare metal, RTOS or Internal Linux. 
• Work experience in developing firmware for 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers (ARM, RISC etc)
• Good understanding w.r.t usage of 1. RTOS like MQX. 
• Bootloader and software update concepts. 
• Communication protocols like TCP/IP,MQTT. 
• Socket programming in Linux environment. 
• Good knowledge on protocols like (RS485, SPI, I2C, ADCs, CAN, LIN) 
• Knowledge of Blue-tooth communication protocols for BLE 4.2/5.1. 
• Proficient in the use of embedded SW Development tool chain (Flash/ debug tool chain, IDE).

• Experience in scripting languages like Shell / CAPL / Make/Python etc.

• Good knowledge in HW and communication protocols like CAN, SPI, UART, I2C, USB 
• Good knowledge in TFT Displays and Sensors is added advantage
• Good knowledge of implementation of motor controls as required, pulse width modulation schemes (PWM).
• Good knowledge of power electronics (TRIACs, MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers) and require protections (Over/under voltage/current).
• Document firmware designs, specifications, test plans, revisions and produce test reports

Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python development in Linux

Experience of microcontroller and microprocessor.

Knowledge of IoT gateway firmware development, container, and OS hardening.

Experience in device communication protocol, Edge computing and processing

Competent in application development for Image processing, transmission, and storage

Good understanding and of programming primitives, data structures, multi-threading and memory management techniques

Strong command over complex sensor and hardware control logic to work seamlessly with edge devices or gateway
