Java with Spring Boot

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the Laravel framework. We use GIT for version control and the candidate must have experience in working in a team environment using tools like Github, Gitlab, etc. 

Responsibilities

• Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required.
• Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications.
• Help with database and backend architecture. 
• Create API endpoints

 

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in web development and software design
• Expertise in Laravel Framework, and MySQL databases.
• Working knowledge of GIT and Github.
• Experience with creating REST-based API endpoints

• Developing front-end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.

• Deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced customer-facing product
• Build distributed systems to support large scale, low latency queries
• Be involved in the full life-cycle of product development from concept to deliverables

• 4 to 7 years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies • Programming experience using the .Net framework – including ASP.Net, VB, C#, LINQ, WPF, WCF, MVC, XML. • Technical design experience – translation of complex HLDs to lower level detailed designs • Ability to develop/refine accurate build estimates based on detailed designs • Experience in SQL Server (or similar) database design • Experience with TFS and Visual Studio products • Experience with researching and understanding an underlying application functionality and patterns to develop detailed designs • Experience with large scale waterfall development in a highly complex environment • Experienced with Agile development methodologies is desirable but not mandatory • Experience in the development of Financial Services application – particularly Wealth Management is desirable • Experience with development of web based systems (web, mobile) and integration experience is desirable

Requirements: Experience in PHP or Python is preferred but if you're an awesome coder in some other language we're sure you can pick up PHP/Python when you join. Understanding of MySQL, noSQL, OOP design, AJAX, jQuery. Excellent knowledge of Laravel framework and experience building factories/facades/libraries using abstract classes, interfaces, traits. Experience with AWS, Architecture Design and Web development. 3-5 years of relevant experience Passionate about working in a startup and creating a great product Must be able to show us projects and or websites that you have created. Bonus points if you’ve created these projects/websites outside of your work (we love seeing proof of how much you love technology and coding).
