Java Technical Lead

Required Skills:

• Exp. - 5-8 years
• Experience in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale applications and systems. Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
• Should have the ability to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low-latency client- facing applications.
• Good development experience with RDBMS.
• Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-performance server-side development.
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Excellent problem solving and coding skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Should have the ability to express their design ideas and thoughts.

• Strong Java programming skills
• Minimum of 5 years practical software development experience
• Robust object-oriented design pattern knowledge and implementation experience using Java;
• Python a plus
• Advanced knowledge and experience developing and working with relational databases such as
• Sybase and MySQL
• Experience with multi-tier application architecture and high performance distributed and in-
• memory caching solutions
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques
• Strong foundation in SDLC best practices including test driven development, unit testing
• discipline, agile development, and CI/CD strategies

· 5+ years of experience in software development using Java.

· Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Batch.

· Experience with microservices architecture.

· Hands-on experience with Cassandra or similar NoSQL databases.

· Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).

· Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

· Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins etc

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Important consideration:

· Core Java - 4 to 6 Yrs

· Spring and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security - 4 to 6 Yrs

· DevOps (Jenkins, Junit, sonarQube, Maven) - 1 to 2 Yrs

· MongoDB, NOSql, Couch DB, Cassandra - 1 to 2 Yrs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Help your engineers grow their skills and experience

- Conduct code reviews, and make technical contributions to product architecture as well as get involved in solving bugs and delivering small features

- Hold regular 1:1's with all members of the team, give regular and clear feedback around the individual's performance

- Foster technical decision-making on the team, but make final decisions when necessary

- Provide oversight and leadership to a team of developers to ensure timely execution of team and project deliverables

- Maintain up-to-date skills in software development technologies and a broad understanding of the business, business needs, and how applications/assets drive and support the business

REQUIREMENTS:

- 6+ years of experience in software development and 1+ in team management.

- In-depth technical experience in at least one of the core languages, frameworks, or technologies used in backend development.

- Ability to mentor junior software developers, as well as to collaborate with all stakeholders.

- Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions.

- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.

- Knowledge of best practices related to design principles, API development and software architecture.

- Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Participate in requirements analysis and design 
• Development of Web applications and RESTful APIs using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework 4.7, C#, ASP.NET MVC, LINQ, Entity Framework 6.0, EF Core
• Development of Microservices using Clean Architecture, CQRS, .NET Design Patterns, SOLID Principles and Object-oriented design & analysis (OOA & OOD)
• Development of Microservices using Microsoft Azure or AWS, Dockers and Kubernetes
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages (C#)
• Write Microsoft SQL queries and optimize both external and internal DB processes and procedures.
• Use automation tools, following CI/CD best practices in an established DevOps team.
• Write unit and integration tests using Moq
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
