Java Full Stack Developer - Senior

We are seeking a talented Java Full Stack Developer to join our team.

We are solving complex technical problems in the financial industry and need talented software engineers to join our mission and be a part of a global software development team. As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Java and Angular.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and you will work closely with Architects to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and implement them accordingly.

Required Skills: 

• Exp. - 5 to 9 years. 
• Experience in Core Java 8 and above, Spring (including Core, WebMvc, Batch, Cloud etc). 
• Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale n-tier applications for financial domain. Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns. 
• Should be able to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low-latency client-facing applications. 
• Develop user interfaces for modern web applications using Angular. 
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. 
• Good development experience with RDBMS, preferably DB2/Sybase databases. 
• Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development. 
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux. 
• Excellent problem solving and coding skills in Java. 
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. 
• Should be able to express their design ideas and thoughts. 

Good to have Skills: 

• Prior experience in investment banking / capital markets. 
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. 
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies. 
• Contributions to open-source projects. 
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Angular, Java). 

• 3-12 years Senior level candidate should run department Independently.
• Should have hands on coding experience in Core Java, JSP, Servlets, JQuery, JavaScript, J2ee, Spring, Hibernate, TypeScript,  Angular 2/6/9, HTML, CSS3
• Microservices, CICD, Devops experience would be preferred.
• Release management
• Prepare detailed plan for the release, identify and manage risks
• Estimate time, effort and resources required for assignments
• Organize, delegate, track and coordinate team activities
• Provide visibility to senior leadership through regular updates
• Effective Interaction with Product Management, Domain experts on engineering related issues
• Design and development of subsystems and modules as per specifications
• Ensure team availability and responsiveness to production issues

You have experience in tackling organization wide challenges which are complex initiative that span multiple teams and products. Strong bias for operational and engineering excellence. critical that your voice is heard in product and business decisions. You like to find patterns that can reuse across multiple stacks, and willingness to help organisations adopt newer technologies. You are a great communicator and you take care setting high benchmarks in technical design choices. You spend a lot of time on research and love to discuss pros/cons of all choices and helping others towards making careful decisions.

Requirements:

• BS in CS or EE or equivalent.
• Proven track record working in top talent and high performance environments.
• Experience working on large scale systems in rapid growth environments.
• Experience with modern web frameworks (e. g. Go/React), distributed computing (e. g. Spark), public cloud platforms (e. g. AWS) and data pipelines
• Familiarity with containerisation, microservices architecture, continuous integration and delivery.
• Experience with multiple well-known products throughout their life cycles, from idea conception to product release and maintenance.
• 10+ years experience.

• Published Engineering blogs.
