The Team

The team is a new and growing Innovation Accelerator that is exploring new ideas to expand the business. • Worked with a team of designers/engineers who reviewed each other's code/designs and held each other to an extremely high bar for quality of code/designs

• Own the quality of the code you wrote even (especially!) when it is running in production

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field/experience

Requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional server development experience using Java or similar object-oriented language
• Strong understanding of web-based architecture - web servers, load balancing, caching, databases etc.
• Basic knowledge of SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Experience developing data driven web applications
• Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development, including Amazon AWS ecosystem
• Experience building and using RESTful APIs

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-threading, replication etc. concepts in cloud applications

• Have architected /designed at least 2-3 systems/products of enterprise scale from scratch.
• Have banking and Financial service background and preferably worked in Mobile/Digital platform design and development. Payments /OLTP preferred.
