Key Role Requirements:

• Experience in Java-J2EE Development
• Hands-on experience in Struts (Core Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB) framework.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle SQL, Procedures
• Hands-on experience in Spring boot, Spring batch
• Should have worked on application servers like IBM WAS / Jboss / Web logic.
• Knowledge of basic Linux commands and BIRT reporting tool is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in SVN or any other version control is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Build tool like ANT, Maven is an added advantage
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.

Job Description

·       Strong Core Java / C++ experience with Strong Handson Coding

·       Excellent understanding of Logical ,Object-oriented design patterns, algorithms and data structures.

·       Sound knowledge of application access methods including authentication mechanisms, API quota limits, as well as different endpoint REST, Java etc

·       Strong exp in databases - not just a SQL Programmer but with knowledge of DB internals

·       Sound knowledge of Cloud database available as service is plus (RDS, CloudSQL, Google BigQuery, Snowflake )

·       Experience working in any cloud environment and microservices based architecture utilizing GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, CircleCI, Azure or similar technologies

Key Responsibilities:
 Contributes to design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and documenting software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end user applications
 Function as an active member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
 Participate in code reviews and automated testing
 Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation
 Support and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
 Automate deployments in test or production environments
 Explores new automation techniques to refine the agility, speed and quality of engineering initiatives and efforts
 Defines test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided. Takes part in reviews of own work and handles work efficiently. Skills & Qualifications:
 5+ years of software development experience in Java.
 Java 8, JBPM, Security, Microservices, API, Gateway, spring boot.
 Understanding of Agile or other rapid application development methods, object-oriented design, exposure to design and coding across one or more platforms and languages
 Experience in developing REST APIs and building Microservices.
 Strong hands-on experience with databases (SQL & no-SQL)
 Solid understanding of data structures, Algorithms & Design Patters will be a plus
 Exposure to methods relating to application design, software development and automated testing
 Ability to understand and use data structures and associated components
 Understands the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
 Familiar with infrastructure technologies and components
 Learns and applies new technologies and techniques. Keeps up to date on current research and technology in the industry
 Recognizes the importance of collaboration to achieve objectives. Influences team members with creative changes and continuous improvement.
 Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving and adaptive communication

 Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent training/certification, or relevant work experience.

Job Requirements :

- Should have experience in supporting the application and infrastructure 24x7.

- Should have good working knowledge on troubleshooting skills of Operating Systems (Linux/Windows)

- Good experience on Java/j2EE application supporting and AWS infra supporting.

- Ability to work with 3rd parties/FOPS and provide required instruction to troubleshoot and restore faults.

- Respond quickly and effectively to production issues, troubleshooting solutions, and taking responsibility for seeing those solutions through resolution.

- Identify root cause and corrective actions for highly complex availability, capacity, security, performance, and quality issues affecting the database.

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.

- Good knowledge in scripting languages like Shell, Python.

- Good Knowledge on Databases like Mongo, Mysql, SQL Server.

- Respond to alerts and take corrective action to ensure the high-availability of our production environments and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.

- Experience/Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus

- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must

- Must have production support experience as the requirement is 24X7X365 production support.

Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop and deliver web services and jobs that powers Niki, India's first transactional bot.
2. Write code that are clean, testable, performant, scalable, documented and secure
3. Design and architect new sub-systems, idenity perf bottlenecks and suggest design/architect improvements
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 4 years of software development experience prefrably developing e-commerce applications
2. Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Fluent in Java or any other object oriented programming languages
2. Knowledge of Design patterns and design principles
3. Experienced in delivering REST style web services 
4. Significant experiences in asynchronous and multi-threaded programming
5. Strong CS fundamentals with good hold on DS and Algo.
Good to have:
1. Knowledge of Spring
2. Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
