Key Responsibilities

 Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs

 Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

 Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams

 Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

 Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

 Implement security and data protection best practices

 Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

 4–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development

 Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java and Core Java

 Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, Express.js, etc.

 Good understanding of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture

 Strong experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

 Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

 Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus

 Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage

 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Technical Skill Set:

1. ASP. NET Development – Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, WPF, and solid understanding of SOLID principles, API development, and databases.

2. Cloud Technologies – Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

3. Software Development & Architecture – Proficiency in SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps frameworks.

4. Project Planning & Management – Experience in task allocation, tracking, estimations, and deliverables management.

5. Repository & Version Control – Familiarity with Git, SVN, or similar tools, along with basic networking concepts.

6. Product Lifecycle Management – Knowledge of requirement analysis, documentation, testing, and release management.

7. Project Planning Tools – Experience with tools like Microsoft Project Plan, JIRA, Redmine, or HP ALM/Quality Centre.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

1. Team Leadership – Ability to guide, mentor, and manage a team while ensuring high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines.

2. Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering – Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders to enhance and refine project requirements.

3. Strong Communication & Problem-Solving – Effective at handling challenges, making decisions, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Exp. - must be 8-12 yrs

Location - Bangalore/Mumbai

• Experience in Core Java 5.0 and above, CXF, Spring.

• Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale n-tier applications for financial domain. Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.

• Should have the ability to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low-latency client-facing applications.

• Good Experience into Microservices , Data structures , Oops , Algorithms, multithreading etc

• Good development experience with RDBMS, preferably Sybase database.

• Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development.

• Experience in sales and trading platforms in investment banking/capital markets.

• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.

• Experience into High /Low level designing.

• Excellent problem solving and coding skills in Java.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

• Should have the ability to express their design ideas and thoughts.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with teammates to define, design, and shape new features.

2. Design and develop backend API microservices using Node.js.

3. Design and develop applications in an AWS and GCP environment.

4. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

5. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

6. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the software.

Requirements

1. Solid experience in Node.js.

2. Good experience using frameworks such as Express.JS or Restify.

3. Willing to learn HapiJS.

4. Hands-on experience with JavaScript Development.

5. Able to work independently and carry out a task to achieve the design goal with minimal supervision.

6. Good programming skills and communications.

What you will be doing 

This position would be part of CORE product development team to work on:

• Development of new modules & functionality.
• Fixing of the production bugs for existing clients.
• Contribute in team meetings to provide suggestions or raise concerns where necessary
• Participate actively in Agile SCRUM & play the role that SCRUM team demands
• Participate in technology discussions to perform POC’s & help in scaling the application
• Provide technical guidance to other team members.

What you bring: 

Knowledge / Experience

• 3-5 Years of hands-on experience on Java with knowledge of Garbage Collector, JMS, Event Based programming, Collections, Java Streams, Spring Dependency Injection Framework.
• Experience in Angular 2+.
• Experience working with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Working knowledge on application Servers (WildFly)
• Strong experience in REST Web Services.
• Good knowledge in writing DB queries (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environment and proven knowledge of scripting languages
• Exposure to MQ / AMQ messaging system.
• Sound knowledge of Design Patterns

Skills

• Desired to have knowledge of JMX
• Agile – SCRUM or XP or TDD methodology preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
