Roles & Responsibilities

• Participated in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical discussions with business and cross-functional teams.
• Designed, developed, and maintained scalable Spring Boot microservices following RESTful API standards.
• Built and enhanced backend services using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Developed REST APIs for communication between distributed microservices.
• Implemented Spring Security with JWT/OAuth2 for authentication and authorization.
• Worked with Apache Kafka for asynchronous messaging and event-driven communication between microservices.
• Developed business logic and data processing modules using Scala for high-performance applications.
• Integrated applications with external systems and third-party APIs using REST and SOAP web services.
• Designed and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas in Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Implemented service discovery, centralized configuration, and API Gateway using the Spring Cloud ecosystem (Eureka, Config Server, Gateway).
• Containerized applications using Docker and deployed microservices on Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in developing Enterprise Web Applications using Java/J2EE technologies with a good professional track record.
• Excellent knowledge in Core Java (J2SE) and J2EE technologies.
• Proficient knowledge in Servlets, JDBC & JSP.
• Good knowledge of Spring framework (MVC, Cloud, Data and Security. Etc) and ORM framework like JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of Exception Handling, Collections, File I/O Streams, Interfaces, and logging mechanisms is a must.
• Experience in developing REST APIs and integration of third-party APIs.
• Proficient knowledge in SQL/PLSQL.
• Expertise in application/web server deployment and connection pooling techniques.
• Cloud deployment (AWS & Azure) will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Version Control tools like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
• Experience in data security and protocols is a must.
• Maven and IDE tools experience is a must.
• Multi-threading and serialization techniques knowledge is a must.
• Good understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Ability to read and understand requirements and design documents.

Professional Requirements:

• 2-8 Years professional development experience.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Good understanding of high level and low-level design of distributed systems.
• Experience coding in any one of the following Java or Nodejs.
• Experience building highly available distributed systems on cloud infrastructure will be plus.
• Exposure to architectural pattern of a large, high-scale web application.

Requirement/responsibilities: To take a project from scoping requirements through launch of the project. Ownership of product/feature end-to-end for all phases from the development to the production. Ensuring the developed features are scalable and highly available with no quality concerns. Work closely with senior engineers for refining the and implementation. Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. Participate in design and code reviews.

• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• Proven working experience in Java development
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional server development experience using Java or similar object-oriented language
• Strong understanding of web-based architecture - web servers, load balancing, caching, databases etc.
• Basic knowledge of SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Experience developing data driven web applications
• Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development, including Amazon AWS ecosystem
• Experience building and using RESTful APIs

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-threading, replication etc. concepts in cloud applications
• Familiarity with large scale business intelligence applications
• Familiarity of JavaScript and other web technologies such as React
