Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with extensive experience in React.js and Redux. The ideal candidate is well-versed in modern frontend best practices, has a deep understanding of state management, and is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable software. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain user-facing features that enhance our platform and deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Develop: Lead the design and implementation of complex React.js applications with a strong emphasis on Redux for state management.
• Code Quality & Reviews: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Conduct peer code reviews and enforce best practices across the frontend team.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks; implement optimizations to ensure fast, responsive user experiences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define technical solutions, estimate project timelines, and deliver high-quality features.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow their skills in React, Redux, and modern frontend technologies.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvements in our frontend development process, coding standards, testing practices, and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• React.js Expertise: 3+ years of professional experience in building complex, high-scale React.js applications.
• Redux Mastery: Proven track record of architecting and maintaining global state management solutions using Redux.
• JavaScript & ES6+: Strong command of modern JavaScript (ES6+), along with a solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Frontend Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
• Testing & Tooling: Hands-on experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and branching strategies in collaborative environments.

Financial Package

• Rs. 10–20 Lakhs per annum, contingent on work experience

• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and apply them to enhance our products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with responsive design principles and front-end optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with WebRTC or other real-time communication technologies.

Requirements

- At least 3-12 years of Frontend development experience

- BE/BS in Computer Science, Management and Information Systems, or equivalent

- Problem Solver: Ability to formulate/implement technical solutions, proven ability to understand, analyze, and

solve issues with guidance.

- Should have executed a production level end to end UI application on his own

- A hands-on contributor who played an important role in implementing the proposed architecture and design

- Excellent command over HTML5, CSS,Javascript,Jquery,Ajax,MVVM. Proficient understanding of web markup.

- Expert Level proficiency of Bootstrap, Angular.js (Angular Latest version preferred), Framework.

- General Familiarity with Node.js, Ember.js, Can.js, React.js

- Proficient in unit test cases for UI applications functionality and flow testing using Jasmine/Karma Framework

- Good knowledge of caching and memory management for UI applications

- Exposure to data visualization libraries such as D3.js

Roles and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and push new features and innovative front-end

solutions. Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.

- Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

- Provide technical leadership towards new UI architectures.

- Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

- Create and be accountable for user interaction models, workflows, information architecture, prototypes, and

guidelines for user interfaces.

- Work closely and collaborate with other members of the development teams to ensure smooth integration of the UI component with back end technologies

• Develop web-based application for analytics using Angular
• Integrate and extend Python REST APIs and create visually stunning UI experiences for analysts and users.
• Create flexible dashboards and reports (using plotly, d3, etc) and  leverage open source technology to create various components.
• Create a flexible UI for data analytics and big data usecases which can be used by Large Tier banks as well as smallscale agile startups
• Write unit tests and functional tests for the component using tools like Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, etc.
• Follow software development practices with continuous testing, development and integration (CD/CI)
• Write and maintain technical design documents and new-feature documents
• Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, testers, and product managers
• Participate in peer-based code reviews and design reviews
• Follow agile methodology and encourage collaboration with tools such as GIT, Confluence and Slack applications
• Undergraduate degree or above in computer science preferred

Required Qualifications

• Knows SPA and frontend technologies well
• Has used atleast 1 web framework: Angular / React / Vue / etc. and comfortable with Javascript/Typescript.
• Experience with styling (CSS / SCSS / others) frameworks like bootstrap, material, foundation, tailwind, etc. is a plus
• Knowledge on visualization frameworks like D3, plotly, highcharts, chart.js, etc. to make customizable dashboards.
• Has used testing libraries like karma, jest, jasmine, cypress, selenium, etc.
• Familiar with with frontend processes like State management (Redux), Reactive programming (rxjs), Authentication methods (JWT, SAML) etc. 
• Basic knowledge about APIs (flask, django, nodejs) and worked on deploying web applications (nginx or apache or cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, docker, etc.) will be beneficial.
