● Expertise in backend frameworks/technologies like Python/Django, Golang,
Postgres, Redshift, and AWS.
● Solid coding and problem-solving skills with the ability to architect cross-team
features to refactor existing frameworks. Familiarity with design patterns is a must
too.

What you will be Doing

- You will abstract away complex data interactions with easy-to-use APIs that will power several mobile and web applications.
- You will also own, scale, and maintain the computational and storage infrastructure for the various micro-services and long-running jobs, designed and implemented by you and the team.
- We will look to you to make key decisions on the technology stack, architecture, networking, and security. We love working with bleeding-edge technology, especially if it improves the malleability, and simplicity of our deliverables.


What you need

- The ideal Backend Engineers are polyglots who are fluent in HTTP and core CS concepts such as algorithms, data structures, and programming paradigms, and always pick the right tools for the right job.
- They have a keen eye for common security vulnerabilities and how to act on them (example: DDOS attacks, SQL Injection etc.).
- They understand what it takes to work in a startup environment and know when to trade performance for simplicity.
- They fail fast, learn faster, and execute in time.
- Strong communication skills, get-things-done attitude, and empathy
- Strong sense of ownership, drive and obsessive attention to detail.
- Comfortable with iterative development practices and code reviews

Job Description
We are looking for a talented Software Engineers to join our agile development team. As an experienced member, you will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle: scoping, design, coding, testing, implementation and support. You will help in the development of highly available, scalable, secure and flexible solutions for our ecommerce platform. In this role, you must be able to multi-task, quickly adapt to new development environments, learn new systems, create reliable/maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult and complex problems. You take pride and ownership in your work as well as the overall contributions of the team. You must also have the ability to take a system-wide understanding, recognize use of system components and disparate technologies and be able to diagnose and debug components across an entire system. *            1+ years of software development experience using Java/C++/Golang/Python or any of the object oriented programming language
*            Experience working on JavaScript would be an added advantage

What you need to have:

Requirements

You will be proficient in Kubernetes and the docker ecosystem. You know at least one or two languages, preferably Go or Python and have good experience working with Kubernetes APIs. You have worked with SDNs and hybrid networks spanning local and cloud resources. You have worked on automation with Chef / Puppet / Ansible and have dabbled with tools like Consul, Etcd, Terraform. You have significant exposure to multiple clouds like AWS, GCP, and Azure and are very conversant with the UIs and the CLI as well. Knowledge of micro-services architecture, serverless paradigms are highly desired.
