We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in Python to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and maintaining enterprise-level, scalable backend systems.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills

    CS fundamentals are must (CN, DBMS, OS, System Design, OOPS) • Python Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Python with deep understanding of frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask

• Database Management: Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and database optimization

• API Development: Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and GraphQL

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure services

• Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes

• Message Queues: Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Apache Kafka

• Version Control: Advanced Git workflows and collaboration

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of backend development experience

• Proven track record of working on enterprise-level applications

• Experience building scalable systems handling high traffic loads

• Background in microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

At least 3 years' experience as a Node.js developer.

Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.

Mandatory experience in MongoDB and MySql.

Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.

Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

Job Description:

• Strong Experience of Node JS.

• Strong Experience of Reactjs development

• Experience in Server-side application architectures like Express.js, Meteor.Js, etc. is desirable.

• Experience in developing APIs is highly desirable.

• Experience in Mongo or MySQL database is a must.

• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

• Experience in delivering products using an Agile methodology is highly desirable.

• Experience with automated unit, integration and end-to-end testing is highly desirable.

• Experience in the area of network or systems management is a plus.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Designing and implementing new features and functionality.

- Developing custom themes with WordPress by working with HTML, CSS, responsive frameworks, JavaScript, and ready-made theme development experience.

- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.

- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.

- HTML to WordPress Conversion.

- Should know versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with more than 3 years of experience on any specific front-end stack like Angular/Backbone/React or equivalent and some exposure to graphic systems and WebGL. We are keen on working with people who are passionate about product UX/UI and the role that plays in delighting the end user. It’s also important to have a strong urge to identify, learn, embrace and incorporate any new tech (responsibly) that's needed to solve our problem better.

Responsibilities

• Product Engineering ownership - he/she would be expected to work closely with Product and Marketing teams to build Typito’s product suite. Engineering feature development and Product release / deployments would be part of the ownership.

Requirements

• Strong in : HTML/JS/CSS
• 3+ years experience working with any particular backend stack (Django, Rails, Laravel, NodeJS or equivalent)
• Experience with any particular front-end stack like Angular/Backbone/React or equivalent is a bonus
• Experience with image/video processing tech is a strong bonus.

• Excellent knowledge in one or more of Python/NodeJS REST Frameworks 
• Hands on experience in system architecture and data modelling. Experience with databases like MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB.
• Devops capabilities - with good understanding of deployments and cloud infrastructure. In depth knowledge of container architecture using Docker is must. 
• Scaled systems using RabbitMQ/ Redis /Celery/ Kafka

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidance for one of the fastest-growing company in India

- Translate business requirements into scalable and extensible design

- Pair with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements and spread design philosophy, goals and improve the code quality across the team

- Partner with the product management team to define and execute the feature roadmap

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mobile, UX etc.) on planning and execution

- Proactively manage stakeholder communication related to deliverables, risks, changes and dependencies

- The building of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Experience and Skills :

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying applications on Node.JS for large scale applications.

- Strong proficiency with JavaScript

- Understanding of Asynchronous Request handling techniques.

- Deep knowledge of Linux : CentOS, Fedora, or Ubuntu

- Data modeling experience in Relational and NoSQL databases(MONGO DB)

- Ability to understand and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

- Well versed with Agile methodologies, TDD and Test Engineering and Automation

- Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services

- Experience troubleshooting server performance - memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks, etc.

- Excellent understanding of interactive application development paradigm, memory management, performance/resource optimizations, database interactions, network programming, concurrency and multithreading, fault tolerance, monitoring, security and operability of systems

- Continuously refactor applications to ensure high-quality design

- Ability to plan, prioritize, estimate and execute releases with a good degree of predictability
