REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Infrastructure Automation
• Deep hands-on expertise in Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) – OS hardening, security, patching, and performance management (Must Have)
• Strong experience with Cloud Technologies – Public & Private Cloud environments (Must Have)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (Must Have)
• Strong automation expertise using Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure provisioning (Must Have)
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end deployment automation
• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration, orchestration, and cluster management (Must Have)
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Helm package management
• Experience managing large-scale development and infrastructure environments

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure platforms across cloud and on-premise environments
• Administer and maintain Linux servers including security hardening, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using Ansible
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
• Manage Docker environments and Helm-based application deployments
• Design and implement network solutions ensuring security, reliability, and scalability
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability using observability and monitoring tools
• Manage and support Proxmox virtualization environments
• Implement AI-driven automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Support edge infrastructure deployments and distributed computing environments
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable platform services
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Define infrastructure standards, automation frameworks, and operational best practices
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and reliability of infrastructure platforms
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on DevOps and platform engineering initiatives
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements and deliver optimal solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fields

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps including automated system configuration, application deployment, and infrastructure-as-code. 
• Advanced Linux system administration abilities. 
• Real-world experience managing large-scale AWS or GCP environments. Multi-account management a plus. 
• Experience with managing production environments on AWS or GCP. 
• Solid understanding CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, CircleCI/Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory/Nexus. 
• Experience on any configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef is a must. 
• Experience in any one of the scripting languages: Shell, Python, etc. 
• Experience in containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes/EKS/GKE is a must. 
• Solid understanding of SSL and DNS. 
• Experience on deploying and running any open-source monitoring/graphing solution like Prometheus, Grafana, etc. 
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Always adhere to security best practices.
• Knowledge on Bigdata (Hadoop/Druid) systems administration will be a plus.  
• Knowledge on managing and running DBs (MySQL/MariaDB/Postgres) will be an added advantage.

• Work with development teams to build and maintain cloud environments to specifications developed closely with multiple teams. Support and automate the deployment of applications into those environments 
• Diagnose and resolve occurring, latent and systemic reliability issues across entire stack: hardware, software, application and network. Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve application and service issues 
• Continuously improve Conviva SaaS services and infrastructure for availability, performance and security 
• Implement security best practices – primarily patching of operating systems and applications 
• Automate everything. Build proactive monitoring and alerting tools. Provide standards, documentation, and coaching to developers.
• Participate in 12x7 on-call rotations 
• Work with third party service/support providers for installations, support related calls, problem resolutions etc.

You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in software development and DevOps, specifically managing AWS Infrastructure such as EC2s, RDS, Elastic cache, S3, IAM, cloud trail and other services provided by AWS.
• Experience Building a multi-region highly available auto-scaling infrastructure that optimises performance and cost. plan for future infrastructure as well as Maintain & optimise existing infrastructure.
• Conceptualise, architect and build automated deployment pipelines in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins.
• Conceptualise, architect and build a containerised infrastructure using Docker, Mesosphere or similar SaaS platforms.
• Conceptualise, architect and build a secured network utilising VPCs with inputs from the security team.
• Work with developers & QA to institute a policy of Continuous Integration with Automated testing Architect, build and manage dashboards to provide visibility into delivery, production application functional and performance status.
• Work with developers to institute systems, policies and workflows which allow for rollback of deployments Triage release of applications to production environment on a daily basis.
• Interface with developers and triage SQL queries that need to be executed in production environments.
• Assist the developers and on calls for other teams with post mortem, follow up and review of issues affecting production availability.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Ansible.
• Must have written playbook to automate provisioning of AWS infrastructure as well as automation of routine maintenance tasks.
• Must have had prior experience automating deployments to production and lower environments.
• Experience with APM tools like New Relic and log management tools.
• Our entire platform is hosted on AWS, comprising of web applications, webservices, RDS, Redis and Elastic Search clusters and several other AWS resources like EC2, S3, Cloud front, Route53 and SNS.
• Essential Functions System Architecture Process Design and Implementation
