As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be part of the Compliance IT Data and MI Team.

Part of the wider Compliance Group Function, the Data and MI Team provides a foundational set of data capabilities which maximise synergy, minimise spend and ensures, ultimately, that the data serving various Compliance-related business processes is of the highest quality and standard.

As a Full Stack Engineer within Data & MI team, you will be responsible for accepting the work requests that are prioritised and developing the code enhancements to match the requirements as described in the chance request.

In addition, you will be responsible for the deployment of changes to the relevant Data & MI system code stack.

As an engineer you will be expected to be able to work and manage multiple change requests in parallel and be able to handle stakeholder queries by applying the appropriate analysis on the code.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Developing digital products, applications and minimum viable product (MVP), including defining the overall architecture and system design to meet business requirements.
• Enabling our client to select the appropriate technology stack, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security and maintainability.
• Designing and configuring the infrastructure to support the software application.
• Choosing the development toolkit, frameworks and libraries best suited based on business and project's needs.
• Crafting and executing database designs, ensuring data integrity, performance and scalability.
• Enhancing and optimising application architecture to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensuring application scalability to handle increased user loads and data volumes effectively.
• Upholding quality assurance standards through code reviews, testing and continuous integration practices.
• Ensuring IP security by implementing robust authentication, authorisation and encryption mechanisms.
• Exploring and integrating new technologies to enhance the software's capabilities and keep it up-to-date with industry trends.

Skills Required

• Strong technical background with experience in managing complex technical projects encompassing diverse realms such as Web, Mobile, Applications (Apps), Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML).
• Extensive experience in establishing and refining processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at measuring and enhancing the quality and efficiency of development capabilities. Qualifications

Role: Engineer/Sr Engineer -Java 

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: 

The Product Development Engineer is responsible for the front-end development of modules for enlivening CEM. 

The engineer is responsible for end to end delivery of specific components in the module and integrating them with existing modules 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Working with technical architects, able to convert the architecture into design and code in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, and NodeJS. 

• Able to generate LLD documents. 

• Ability to write Quality code with minimum defects. 

• Unit Test and follow the coding standards. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS: 

• 5+ years of strong programming and logical skills in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, Object-Oriented Javascript, NodeJS and HTML5 

• Hands-on Experience with Java (Spring Boot), and MySQL is mandatory. Must have completed at least 2 full projects using Spring boot and AngularJS.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Spring JPA and RESTful web services implementation.

• NodeJS experience is value add 

• Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.

• Must be able to mentor and guide junior technical resources.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in a technical leadership role, managing and leading a team of IT professionals.

Strong technical background in one or more IT domains, such as software development, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, or data management.

In-depth knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends.

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

At least 7 years programming experience, some of them in JS/TypeScript.

 Proven expert level knowledge in BE & FE development (NodeJS, React,

electron, npm/yarn, WebPack).

 Experience with cloud (preferably AWS) and/or micro-services.

 Proven experience mentoring junior developers, defining work procedures and coding conventions.

 Experience working with various databases (preferably more than two).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

Extensive experience in PHP and MySQL.

Exposure to Magento 2, CMS, and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery.

Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, HTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards.

Demonstrable source control experience

passion for building and delivering great software with a strong sense of ownership.

• 4+ years of experience in building web applications using React, Node.js, GraphQL integrations with NoSQL or relational database systems.
• Working experience in building and deployment applications on AWS platform a plus.
• Working experience on docker and microservice a plus.
• Strong experience with Build and Release, Agile processes and Estimation/Planning
• Must have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with solid understanding of logging and exception handling.
