Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Lead with strong expertise in AWS, Node.js, Angular, and MongoDB to drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers, defining best practices, and ensuring high-quality code delivery while working in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of web applications using Node.js, Angular, and MongoDB.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications on AWS.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to the development team.
• Optimize backend APIs and database queries for performance and scalability.
• Ensure best practices in coding, security, and DevOps for cloud deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code on AWS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement in system reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and advocate for relevant tech adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (Fastify/Express), Angular (latest versions), and MongoDB (Mongoose, Aggregations, Indexing).
• Cloud expertise with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Code Build, Athena, Glue etc.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, GraphQL, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO).
• Experience with DevOps & CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, caching strategies (Redis, CloudFront), and database optimisation.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with AI/ML integration in applications.
• Knowledge of Serverless Architectures (AWS Lambda, Step Functions).
• Exposure to NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, WebRTC, or real-time data processing.

• Work with and integrate third-party APIs
• Implement and maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID, and Okta

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Java backend development

This role requires overlap with multiple time zones for planning meetings, status updates etc. on a regular basis. The duration of these overlaps can change depending on the type of meeting. Key Responsibility:

● Develop and maintain full-stack applications (using technologies Node.js, React) to support Wendor's smart vending ecosystem, ensuring seamless frontend and backend functionality.

● Work on low-level integrations with vending hardware, optimizing performance and stability on Linux-based systems.

● Build and manage scalable backend services and RESTful APIs to handle real-time data, payments, and machine operations.

● Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 software engineers, conducting code reviews, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring timely deliveries.

● Write efficient SQL queries and manage data flow between services and databases to ensure reliability and responsiveness of the platform. ● Ideate, prototype, and implement new features, tools, or automations to improve product performance and internal processes.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, product, design, and operations to deliver integrated solutions.

● Ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime for software running on live vending machines across India.

• You preferably have experience in working with GIT, SVN or similar SCM tools
• You must have done one of this payment gateway integration - Paypal/ Stripe/ Razor pay
