Frontend Lead- React

Position:  React/Frontend Developer

Location: Chennai and Exp : 3 to 5 Yrs

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js or VueJs. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Should have recent experience with React projects (min. 2 years)
• Experience in VueJs is an added advantage
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools. 

1.     Significant experience of working in front-end web development
2.     Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap, Foundation or Materialize
3.     Angular Material, Chart Libraries(D3, Leaflet, Amchart etc).
4.     Solid understanding and development experience in Angular
5.     Experience with Typescript
6.     Experience with tools like Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI and/or Gulp
7.     Experience consuming REST APIs

• Core Javascript, HTML, CSS, JSON understanding is mandatory
• Expertise of functional programming using JavaScript (ES5, ES6)
• Expertise of UI framework - React / Redux, RXJS
• Preferred experience with new generation of Web Programming - using Micro Service, REST/JSON, GraphQL and Component UI models
• Expertise with data visualization flow development along with usage of modern charting and graphical java script libraries
• React / Redux, RXJS, HTML, CSS, Javascript (ES5, ES6), Data visualization and Chart Libraries
• Data Structure and Design Pattern
• Strong knowledge of JSON data handling, GraphQL and their working

Role Summary:

The role includes translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. It also includes Creating quality mockups and prototypes, ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency 

The  Candidate should be fluent in frontend language and also an exceptional problem solver with great communication skills

Your Current Profile:

• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and excellent problem solving skills
• Good understanding of software engineering practices, Data Structures & Algorithms
• Good programming skills in JavaScript
• Expert in any one of the modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks (AngularJS, JQuery, NodeJS, ReactJS/AngularJS/VueJS
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• 3-7 years of experience in product driven organisation

Qualification

• A Bachelors or Master's degree in engineering from a reputed institute

Who you are

• Should have minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and vanilla JavaScript.
• Should have good knowledge on ES6.
• Understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Should be proficient any of the the frameworks  ReactJs, VueJs etc.
• Should have knowledge on Node Js.
• Should have hands on experience web component development.
• Good understanding of Responsive Web Designing, CSS media queries and Bootstrap library.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Good understanding of asynchronous/Ajax request handling.
• Good understanding of OOJS.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
• Knowledge in writing UI test cases using any test framework.

Education

• Bachelor's  degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Key Qualifications

• Expertise in ReactJS/Redux
• Working knowledge of TypeScript or Flow is a plus
• PURE experience of 1.5 Years and more in Frontend Development
• Expert-level knowledge of developing, shipping, and maintaining Javascript applications
• Knowledge of general software design patterns
• Deep understanding of Javascript
• Up-to-date on the latest build tools, and libraries such as ES6, Webpack, Babel
• Proficient in Javascript with strong object-oriented design skills
