Role Overview:

As an SDE I Front-End Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the development of the dashboard for our SaaS security platform.

Your primary focus will be on utilising Next.js, React, TypeScript, shadcn/ui (built on Radix UI), Tailwind CSS & TanStack Query to create an intuitive and efficient dashboard that meets the evolving needs of our users.  You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented individuals, collaborating to deliver innovative solutions and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in web development. The role requires deep collaboration with the leadership, product, design, back-end and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, product designers, and backend engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into code.
• You will research, design and code. What you create is also what you own.
• Develop consistent and user-friendly web interfaces based on Figma designs, using Next.js, React and shadcn/ui
• Utilize TypeScript for type safety and enhanced development workflows, ensuring code quality and reliability.
• Implement designs using shadcn/ui design kit (built on Radix UI) for consistent and modern UI components + utilize Tailwind CSS to style components and ensure a cohesive visual experience across the dashboard.
• Integrate Tanstack Query & Jotai for efficient data fetching and state management.
• Optimize web performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices, security and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues pre/post production, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on users. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Ensuring timely delivery of the features/products
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into the development process when appropriate.

Requirements

• 3+ year of work experience with Next.js (preferred) or React
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong proficiency in Next.js and React, with demonstrable experience building web applications.
• Experience working with design systems and UI libraries, preferably shadcn/ui (built on Radix UI).
• Proficiency in CSS, particularly with Tailwind CSS, for styling and layout.
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Tanstack Query(React Query)/Jotai.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of basic UX principles and what makes a great user experience
• Solid understanding of web development concepts such as HTML, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Writing semantic, modern, and accessible HTML mark-up.
• ReactJS (v17),Type Script, HTML, CSS
• Organizing and writing modular, well-structured CSS.
• Mastery of turning complex mock-ups into performant components/pages.
• Strong familiarity with Vanilla JS and up to date with the latest TypeScript features.
• Experience with writing scalable and performant code for a high-traffic website.
• Experience and/or knowledge of both Object Oriented Programming and Functional Programming principles.
• Willingness and desire to learn new and legacy frameworks.
• CSS pre-processing via SCSS.
• Experience with JS frameworks such as React, Redux, Backbone, or Marionette.
• Experience with Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery.

UI Architect / Developer

1.       A must have skills is Angular. NodeJs preferred but can be replaced with anything on server side scripting.  

a.       70% work for this role in angular based. At architect role without server side scripting understanding doesn’t a right fit. 

b.       Someone who can take sound decision for overall interaction with backend.  

c.        There are components written in node (Control Manager and aith server) which we have intentions to align with UI architect.  

d.       Given Node is technology primary in java script (same as angular), generally we are seeing people who have earlier exposure or are confident to pick it with little learning. But we would not penalize anyone who is week in node, but champ in angular for this role. 

2.       Design , develop and maintain client facing web applications. 

3.       Cooperating with backend developers in the process of building REST APIs. 

4.       Should demonstrate deep understanding of the following: 

·         Design - HTML/CSS  

·         Frontend languages - Experience with Javascript  and related frameworks - Angular(7/8/9), Angular Material, Bootstrap(or similar CSS frameworks), Node JS (preferred but not mandatory). 

·         Test frameworks - Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Karma 

To be shared by you - 

1.     Can you lead frontend-backend integration? 

2.     Can you use linux machines? 

3.     Are you aware of websockets? 

4.     Has you workedon binary data communication over websockets? 

5.     Do you understand different types of communication protocols available between frontend-backend and it's working? 

6.       Do you have experience on electron framework? 

7.       Highest team size managed by you.

The  will be responsible for :

• Designing and development of Responsive Web Application
• Strong Knowledge of HTML5, CSS & Java Script
• Strong Understanding of concept of DOM (Document Object Model)
• Understanding of how browsers (Chrome, Mozilla) work behind the scene
•  Knowledge of React JS, CSS Flexbox (Preferred or Optional )

Technical Lead Typescript Front End Developer:

• Good communication skills
• Strong background in developing mobile games using OOJS, JavaScript , Typescript, HTML and CSS
• Experience in gaming framework and libraries like Phaser and Create JS
• Knowledge of Object Oriented design patterns
• Experience in game development for mobile devices (IOS/Android browsers)
• Excellent analytical skills for debugging and problem solving
• Excellent problem solving skills and aptitude 
• Ability to review code and design. ​

• Knowledge of various JavaScript libraries available for developing games
• Knowledge of Node JS, NPM & Grunt
• Knowledge of Pixi JS & Cocos2d-x
• Basic knowledge about graphics manipulation software like Photoshop, gimp etc.
• Experience in game development for mobile devices browser (IOS/Android browsers)
