What will you do?

You will be our go-to person when it comes to ensuring that Classplus’ digital architecture functions smoothly. Though not a traditional customer-facing role, your work will be reflective of our brand quality as a whole.
With so much riding on your shoulders, we’ll need you to: -

• Guide the team in the implementation of visual elements from computer users' vantage points within a web application and translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code

• Design and implement low-latency, highly available and performing applications that scale for millions of users, and assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end

• Develop application code and unit test in the Javascript technologies for the application development center

• Work with Test-Driven development, help define architectures and design patterns, and actively participate in PR reviews on GitHub


You should apply, if you

• Bring your A-game: Have knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS, NextJS, VueJS, and experience with rendering techniques and writing high performing code

• Offer guaranteed efficiency: Have a good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them, and server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

• Show promising experience: Have a good understanding and exposure to serverside rendering, and asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

• Show proficiency: Display in-depth understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git / Mercurial / SVN), and cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Responsibilities

• Proficient knowledge of a NodeJS and Express.
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop), and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jade, EJS, Jinja, etc. depending on your technology stack)
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (such as Stylus, Less, Sass etc. depending on your technology stack)
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

Job Description:
 

• Develop user interface components and implement them using well-known React workflows & best-practices. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Take complete ownership of features, break it down to smaller tasks, identify blockers and find solutions for them; collaborate with other cross-functional teams to deliver the feature on time.
• Create responsive layouts for different mobile screens and desktops with search friendly markup
• Translating visual designs and product wireframes into high quality code

• Min 2+ years of experience in developing modern consumer facing web applications using React and Redux
• Should be aware of latest React patterns and know how to leverage react hooks, functional components and higher order components
• Strong proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation
• Must know basics of web technology
• Tech skills needed: React, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Redux

To be the right fit, you'll need:
• Minimum 4+ years relevant experience in application development and React JS.
• Knowledge of React hooks such that use Context, use Reducer, use Effect.
• Knowledge of React props and state management (both functional and class component)
• Strong understanding of Error boundary concept of react.
• Work experience with any react based UI library or Redux is preferable
• Experience in building cross-browser layouts with CSS and HTML

The candidate will work closely with the Engineering team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.

Responsibilities :

- Develop the webapp and landing portals which are user-facing features.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design.

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.


Minimum Qualifications :

- 6+ years of JavaScript and professional web development experience

- Solid understanding of HTML5, LESS/CSS3, JQuery & Bootstrap

- Expert understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.

- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (i.e. React + Redux)

- General knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies

- Experience with Datatables or similar excel-like libraries.

- Experience of REST or GraphQL

- Experience using token-based security, such as OAUTH or JWT.

- Must have knowledge of cross-browser development.

- Experience on a green-field project, designing and building an online platform

- Basic knowledge of UX principles.
