Responsibilities

* Build interactive UI components with VueJs in various applications

* Collaborating regularly with backend/API engineers in designing, specifying, and implementing services to decouple functionality

* Find opportunities to improve current systems or patterns through auditing or benchmarking

* 'Own' and take lead in newly developed features for current or next-generation platforms

* Maintain our front-end test coverage by running your own tests and working with our QA team on automated testing

* Lend a hand to help other engineers through pair programming, mentoring, and supporting your teammates

Requirements

* Experience: 4 - 5 years

* Good knowledge of VueJs

* In-depthIn depth understanding of JavaScript

* Understanding of REST APIs

* Experience with Sass / Scss / Less / CSS

* Have in-depth knowledge of browsers, cross-browser compatibility issues, and how the DOM works

* Bring experience in the day-to-day practices of continuous delivery, automated testing, and agile development

* Comprehensively understand Web Application fundamentals and the libraries/tool chains used to deliver them such as Webpack, Babel, testing with Mocha/Chai or Jest, git and other CI tools

Responsibilities:

         User Interface Development:

●     Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly web and mobile user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

●     Ensure consistent and pixel-perfect implementation of UI designs across different browsers and devices.

         Optimization:

●     Optimize UI code and assets for performance, speed, and scalability.

●     Implement responsive design principles for seamless user experiences on various screen sizes.

         Cross-Functional Collaboration:

●     Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts and wireframes into functional web interfaces.

●     Collaborate with product managers, back-end developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.

         Testing and Debugging:

●     Perform testing and debugging to identify and resolve front-end issues and ensure a smooth user experience.

●     Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Candidate Profile:

         Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.

         Front-End Development Skills:

●     Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

●     Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.

         Experience: Previous experience in front-end development, with a portfolio demonstrating your skills and projects you've worked on.

         Cross-Browser Compatibility: Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.

         Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot front-end issues effectively.

• Develop new-user facing features using React.Js and Redux, D3.Js
• Build robust, reusable, and easy to maintain components.
• Translate designs and mock-ups into high quality code.
• Work closely with the Support team and Product team to identify issues and bugs in the platform and fix it.
• Completely own the SDLC of your tickets. From dev to production.
• Talk to existing clients about platform bugs and ensure the bugs are fixed.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience with React.js and Redux
• You are a well-organised self-starter with excellent communication skills
• You have thorough and demonstrable understanding of React.js and it’s core principles
• You have experience with code versioning (GIT) and CI/CD (Jenkins, Circle, etc.) tools
• You have ability to translate business requirements into high quality, high performance code
• You are familiar with RESTful API’s
• You enjoy working independently with minimal supervision
• You have broad understanding and experience in Javascript based technologies
• You are comfortable working in fast paced environment
• You are familiar and up-to-date with common front-end dev tools (e.g. Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, etc..)
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

•  6+ years of web UI development experience including 4+ years of deep, hands on experience in building robust, highly reusable and responsive web applications using HTML, CSS3, SVG, React, Redux, Thunk ecosystem
• Great problem-solving skills with solid data structures and algorithms knowledge
• Strong ability to translate the design/wireframes into reusable micro components
• Experience of leading, coaching and mentoring junior developers with good delegation and time-management skills
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles and has extensively worked with Redux, Thunk, Axios etc
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, Oauth2 etc
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• A knack for perfection, benchmarking and optimization
• Writing and maintaining batch jobs to streamline processes (Shell, Perl etc).
• Strong understanding of Agile and Lean software development processes and practices
• Worked with WebSocket, Push notifications etc
• Experience working with local-storage, cookies etc
• Proficient understanding of CORS issues and ways to work with such issues.
• Proficient understanding of social network APIs.
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Inclined to take ownership of tasks and to ship highly polished products with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• BE/BTech in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
