Front End Developer (SDE-2)

A Senior Software Development Engineer at SaaS Labs would handle the responsibility of developing features for our existing products while bringing further innovation and perspective to the table. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic go-getter who can manage a project end-to-end and work in a collaborative workspace!

Qualification:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering or relevant.
• 3-6 years of experience in software development or similar roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and developing new software features for our products such as JustCall, Helpwise, CallPage, Atolia, and Dialworks.
• Working through the design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment phases of project delivery.
• Provide software design and programming expertise to support research projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams - Experimenting and reiterating on software basis feedback from customers/product & business stakeholders.
• Designing and developing new fast and robust algorithms to ensure that the platform supports millions of communications exchanges every month.
• Working with our engineering team to deploy and maintain research models in the production.
• Collaborating with the product and design teams on crafting great user experiences.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience in designing and building systems for maximum performance, reliability, and scalability
• Experience in working with JavaScript, React.js & Remix Run.
• Experience in working with object-oriented programming and at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Understanding of browser caching.
• Experience with seamless integration of front-end to backend functionality.
• Knowledge of high-level programming concepts like promises, and data-binding.
• Ability to design relational database schema at scale.
• Tailwind experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with test-driven/behavior-driven development using automated testing tools.

What You'll do-

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs-Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating awesome interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules, and ensuring the maintainability of the code.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

Technical Requirements-

• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert, or a frontend engineer
• Be familiar with Responsive Web Design, common Web UX patterns and anti-patterns
• Be able to tell good design from bad design
• Be able to write clean, maintainable code which others can work on
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap, and Material UI
• Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
• You have mastery in DOM manipulation (including jQuery) and understand components, CTAs
• Know browser behaviour, performance, compatibility and cross-browser issues
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git,
• You take pride in working on advanced CSS, animations and responsiveness
• You seem to have good architectural & design skills
• Ability to own, end to end responsibility - right from the requirement to release
• Ability to produce bug-free and production-grade code
• Be great at debugging, including identifying page speed and performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome Dev Tools, React Dev Tools, etc.

We are looking for a React.js Developer. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
