Front-End Developer

Job Description:

We are hiring Javascript developers to join our team in developing enterprise mobile applications. This person will work closely with the UX team, as well as, other engineering teams while developing applications and user interfaces.

Experience & Expertise:

• Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript with at least 2+ years of extensive experience on Javascript libraries and micro frameworks
• Expertise on frameworks like , React JS, React Native, Redux, Typescript, etc is highly preferred
• Should have strong hands on mobile cross-platform application development
• Experience integrating user interfaces with middle-tier code and back-end data sources
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
• Must be able to work both on a team or individually, in an adaptable, agile environment
• Excellent communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the user experience team to develop functional prototypes
• Work with development teams to implement user experience deliverables
• Contribute UI component code to a shared controls library and resource dictionary
• Participate in product definition and strategy development
• Collaborate with team members, developers, and third parties to ensure the integrity of the interaction is maintained throughout the project development life cycle
• Support quality assurance testing processes

Job Description

• 2+ years of relevant programming experience in an online environment, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and Javascript.
• Should have worked on Phaser.io HTML5 framework.
• Should have worked on at least one HTML5 game.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, SVG, XML.
• Knowledge of HTML5 porting into Android and iOS through available plug- in.
• Ability to develop and deploy HTML5 on iOS, Android and Web.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of robust quality assurance practices.
• Strong testing, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

Requirements

• We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). 

• You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. - You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Skills And Qualifications

• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks  ReactJS or Vue JS
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js 
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model 
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles 
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus - Familiarity with RESTful APIs 
• Knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools - Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. 
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
• Research new technology trends, come up with suggestions and roll out the same
• Expertise in building UI for cross-platform web application.
• Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components.
• Must be a self-starter with a passion to stay current with the newest online technologies.
• Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills. 

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in similar roles.
• JavaScript and HTML/CSS UI development experience with React and Redux.
• Solid experience with displaying charts, reports and graph data structures.
• Solid experience using REST APIs and GraphQL
• Comfortable with building UIs from mockups.
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with distributed team.
• Understand and practice agile development methodology.
• Prior experience working in a software product company.
