Responsibilities

Finance knowledge — working familiarity is enough. You don't need professional experience, certifications, or deal exposure. We're looking for people who understand the concepts well enough to discuss them confidently and are willing to go deeper:
- Derivatives fundamentals: options and futures, and what drives their value (strike, expiry, volatility, and the basic Greeks at a conceptual level).
- Options income and hedging strategies: covered calls, cash-secured puts, protective puts, and collars.
- Real estate investment analysis: NOI, cap rates, cash-on-cash return, IRR, and reading a basic pro forma.
- Financial modelling: three-statement models, DCF valuation, and comparable company analysis (comps) in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Helpful but not required: fixed income basics (yield, duration), portfolio construction, or structured products.
Background and skills:
- Genuine interest in finance and markets.
- Quantitative background in a STEM field (engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, economics, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — this is the most important requirement. You'll be translating technical financial ideas into plain language for people who don't share your background.
