Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled QA Engineer with expertise in Cypress to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the stability and performance of our web applications. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals to identify issues early and help deliver a high-quality user experience.

You should have a strong background in test automation, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for improving software quality through efficient testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Cypress.
• Design robust test strategies and plans based on product requirements and user stories.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure proper coverage.
• Perform regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing as needed.
• Report and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues quickly.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
• Continuously improve testing tools, processes, and best practices.
• Optimize test scripts for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript-based test automation.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in testing web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance testing or security testing.
• Background in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) – HR Generalist

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes (job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers).
• Liaise with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria.
• Conduct reference checks and background verifications.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation of new hires.

2. Employee Engagement

• Develop and implement employee engagement activities and initiatives.
• Conduct periodic employee feedback surveys and support action planning.
• Organize team-building and recognition events to foster a positive workplace culture.

3. HR Operations & Compliance

• Maintain employee records and HRIS data accurately and confidentially.
• Prepare employment letters, contracts, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Assist in audits and statutory reporting.

4. Performance Management

• Support the implementation and monitoring of performance appraisal systems.
• Coordinate performance review cycles and assist managers with evaluation processes.
• Track and report on performance trends and support interventions as needed.

5. Training & Development

• Identify training needs in consultation with managers and teams.
• Coordinate training programs, track participation, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain a calendar of learning and development activities.

6. Payroll & Benefits Administration

• Assist in payroll preparation by collecting and verifying attendance and leave records.
• Handle employee queries related to salaries, benefits, and deductions.
• Support administration of insurance, PF, ESI, and other statutory benefits.

7. Employee Relations

• Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
• Ensure timely resolution and escalate issues where necessary.
• Promote a harmonious and inclusive workplace environment.

• Taking inbound calls from customers to resolve any queries or complaints
• Accurately explaining all details of courses offered to parents and students
• Ensuring a smooth journey for customers, from registering to completing a demo session
• Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
• Having inside-out knowledge of our product and course offerings
• Explaining technical subjects to customers with a non-technical background

Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities and duties

Skill Set

Primary

• 4-7 years’ experience developing scalable Mobile, Web and Cloud based applications.
• 3-4 years’ experience with hybrid mobile applications using IonicJS.
• 3-4 years’ experience with backend frameworks: Node.js, Express.js, Mongoose.js.
• 3-4 years’ experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular, CSS and HTML5.
• 1-2 years’ experience with Azure Cloud, Azure PaaS (Functions, Service Bus, etc.).
• 1-2 years’ experience with SQL Server and MongoDB database.
• Experience in developing applications involving data extraction, transformation, and visualization using tools like Power BI.
• Very strong experience with the orchestration of multiple asynchronous API calls via call backs, promises, and async/await.
• Hands-on experience with TDD, using libraries such as Mocha/Jasmine.
• Define and implement application & infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques to migrate workloads into Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins pipelines would be a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud would be a plus.
• Experience in developing native iOS and Android applications would be a plus.
