As web developer, you play a key role in customer experience and delight, while keeping our e-commerce website up and running, in optimum shape. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, defining and maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating front-end elements built by other teams into the website/application.

• Design UX flows and experience in line with our brand identity, voice, and tone
• Implement system integrations that are crucial to our success
• Contribute to the development of open-source software, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, and common web technologies integral to building seamless multi-channel experiences
• Ensure alignment with security/personal data protection principals and GPDR
• Implement advanced debugging techniques and usage of browser developer tools

 

 

• 2+ years of experience for the Developer role/5 years of experience for TL-Fullstack developer designing, querying and updating databases in MySQL/nosql
• Proficient in Liquid: Shopify Programming Language
• Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc.
• Passion and interest in learning and staying up-to-date with design and coding best practices
• Desire to develop new bold ideas
• Knowledge of AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch preferred
• General experience building, launching and maintaining stores, as well as general knowledge of the admin system
• Demonstrable expertise with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with an in-depth understanding of DOM
