Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in the world's most hostile environments. We're executing India's flagship autonomous submarine project — the Jalkapi XLAUV — on order from the Indian Navy. This is an unmanned submarine weighing over 20 tons that can travel 5,000+ kilometers autonomously and operate in the ocean for 30+ days at a time.

We're creating some of the largest autonomous robots in the world, machines with direct impact on the global economy and national security. While autonomous cars in India may still be a dream, autonomous ships and submarines are already a reality, and it is possible to build for the world from India.

The Role

We're at a critical inflection point with rapid growth across team size, operations, and revenue. We're onboarding institutional investors and executing complex defense contracts on tight deadlines. We need a Financial Controller to build robust financial operations and systems that can scale with us. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape the financial foundation of a pioneering deep-tech company, working directly with the Founder/CEO and becoming a key strategic partner as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Controls: Establish robust internal controls across multi-location operations. Own payments, approvals, and cash management. Build scalable processes for complex procurement (from local purchases to international imports).

• MIS & Strategic Reporting: Develop comprehensive management information systems for leadership and board. Create dashboards providing real-time visibility into key financial and operational metrics.

• Investor Relations: Serve as primary financial interface with institutional investors. Prepare investor reports, due diligence materials, and financial presentations.

• Fundraising Support: Support fundraising efforts with financial models, projections, and investor materials. Plan capital expenditure for long-term growth.

• Compliance & Audit: Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements. Manage relationships with external agencies for accounting and secretarial services.

• Business Finance: Partner with leadership on business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Develop project-level financial tracking for defense contracts.

Required Qualifications

• CA (Chartered Accountant) or ICWA/CMA with 6-10 years of progressive finance experience.
• 3+ years in high-growth startups (Series A-B stage preferred), with experience scaling financial operations during rapid growth.
• Demonstrated experience working with institutional investors (VCs, PE funds) and supporting fundraising processes.
• Strong foundation in establishing internal controls, financial policies, and implementing systems (ERP, expense management, reporting tools).
• Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, income tax, company law, and regulatory compliance.
• Strategic thinking beyond pure accounting. Ability to translate financial data into business insights and support decision-making.
• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail. Self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems proactively.

Preferred Experience

• Hardware, manufacturing, or defense sectors — understanding of complex inventory management, long procurement cycles, and government contracts.
• Prior senior finance leadership role in a startup environment.
• Experience with international transactions, forex management, and import-export compliance.
• Track record of successfully supporting multiple fundraising rounds.

What you'll do:

·        Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development: Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs and related backend frameworks

·        Assist in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible

·        Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and other engineers on different permutations to find the best solution possible

·        Own the quality of code and do your own testing. Write unit test and improve test coverage.

Basic Qualifications: 

·        Minimum B.S. / M.S. Computer Science or related discipline from accredited college or University

·        At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering backend applications with Node.js, TypeScript

·        At least 2 years of experience with AWS and/or OpenShift

·        Exposure to some of the following concepts: object-oriented programming, software engineering techniques, quality engineering, parallel programming, databases, etc.

Pattem Digital Technologies is looking for a highly effective Adobe Experience manager(AEM) Developer to join our team. This key member of our team contributes to the entire software development lifecycle including analysis, requirement specification, use case and data modeling, technical design, development, testing, and implementation.
