As a  Backend Engineer, you will be working closely with our core team in building products from scratch into large-scale platforms and solving business problems leveraging new and innovative technology. Responsibilities 

- Design and build highly reliable and performant applications that deliver a great user experience. 

- Own large technical deliverables and execute in a structured manner. - Take accountability for the overall health of the applications you build. - Platform components as libraries, utilities and promote reuse. 

- Be able to conceptualize and develop prototypes quickly 

Skills & Requirements 

▪ Work Experience between 1-3 years in large scale applications with the desire to work in fast-paced startups 

▪ Experience/Knowledge of Node.JS, Express.JS, AWS, MongoDB. 

Responsibilities:

• Must have hands-on working experience in NodeJS with Typescript
• Must have experience of large size product development process
• Must have detailed knowledge of designing and developing performant REST APIs 
• Must have hands-on experience on Postgres DB and MongoDb / any NoSQL DB 
• Must be comfortable working with git and CI CD pipelines and deployment strategies
• Should be able to build a new team and work with your engineers and mentor them
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Nodejs with TypeScript and React JavaScript
• Solid understanding of web application architecture, including RESTful API design and development
• Experience with front-end development using tailwind , bootstrap ,HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, typescript
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be highly proficient in NodeJS, Javascript and MySQL with Microservices (REST web services )

Preliminary requirements for the role

1. Should understand the architecture of Node Js language, and must have had at least 1 year of solid experience in writing robust code in this language.
2. Should be well versed with basic algorithms on ( array, Linked list, stack, queue)- Yes, we do ask questions associated with time and space complexity for the above-mentioned algorithms
3. Thorough understanding of MySQL, in that, creating all types of joins ( inner, outer, left, and right) on multiple tables, views, and triggers are a piece of cake for you.
4. Further, you should have a decent understanding of database designs so that you can make quick decisions about normalization, inclusion/exclusion of foreign keys, etc
5. Should have a decent understanding of code repository tool such as GitHub
6. Should be well versed with the basics of AWS ( understanding of cloud architecture would be a plus)
7. Should be aware of the commonly used encryption techniques such as JWT, API encryption, Token management, etc
8. Exposure to working in E-commerce related applications as well as in a startup environment would be an add on. 

Hands on experience in Python in 2.x and 3.x versions

• Developed and deployed services in AWS serverless Architecture
• Developed REST API’s using serverless framework, AWS Lambda, API Gateway
• Developed queue and notification services using AWS components - SQS, SNS
• Implemented authorization and authentication using AWS Cognito pool
• Developed Facial recognition systems using AWS Rekognition
• Hands on experience in Flask, Tornado, Quartz framework
• Hands on experience in designing and working on MicroService & Monolithic architecture
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
