Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

Location: Mali mahajan road, somwar peth, Pune.

Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems.

1. Utilize AWS Serverless skills (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, Event bridge, CloudWatch, permissions, accounts, multi accounts, streams

Technology Stack:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Typescript for backend development.
• Leverage AWS services to build serverless applications with a focus on efficiency, security, and reliability.

E-commerce Expertise:

• Bring experience in e-commerce projects, with additional consideration for knowledge of Commerce tools.

Communication Skills:

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the US, UK, and Australia.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical insights.

Project Collaboration:

• Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. 5-7 years of backend development experience.
3. Strong proficiency in AWS Serverless technologies.
4. Expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and Typescript.
5. Experience with e-commerce projects, particularly Commercetools, is an advantage.
6. Excellent communication skills to engage with international stakeholders.

Requirements and qualifications-

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education with 2-4 Years of work experience.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to:Python, Golang, NodeJs 
• A solid understanding of software construction
• The ability to naturally follow good development practices like test automation, CI/CD, source version control, etc.

Backend Developer :- (3 - 12 yrs)

What You'll Need?

• Knowledge of languages (JavaScript, Python) and frameworks/systems (nodejs)
• Strong analytical skills and aptitude
• Understanding of data architecture, software design and best coding practices
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and technologies

• Understand the business context and build high quality code using proven design patterns Develop, test and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements

Educational Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science).  

Must have skills: 

• 3+ years of work experience with mobile/web development 
• Experience in working with either of languages: Go, Java, Scala 
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) 
• Strong understanding of Message brokers 
• Must have hands on experience in Restful APIs 
• Must have a strong foundation of Data structures and Algorithms

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidance for one of the fastest-growing company in India

- Translate business requirements into scalable and extensible design

- Pair with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements and spread design philosophy, goals and improve the code quality across the team

- Partner with the product management team to define and execute the feature roadmap

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mobile, UX etc.) on planning and execution

- Proactively manage stakeholder communication related to deliverables, risks, changes and dependencies

- The building of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Experience and Skills :

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying applications on Node.JS for large scale applications.

- Strong proficiency with JavaScript

- Understanding of Asynchronous Request handling techniques.

- Deep knowledge of Linux : CentOS, Fedora, or Ubuntu

- Data modeling experience in Relational and NoSQL databases(MONGO DB)

- Ability to understand and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

- Well versed with Agile methodologies, TDD and Test Engineering and Automation

- Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services

- Experience troubleshooting server performance - memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks, etc.

- Excellent understanding of interactive application development paradigm, memory management, performance/resource optimizations, database interactions, network programming, concurrency and multithreading, fault tolerance, monitoring, security and operability of systems

- Continuously refactor applications to ensure high-quality design

- Ability to plan, prioritize, estimate and execute releases with a good degree of predictability
