Job Title: Freelance Full Stack Developer Trainer

Location: Thrissur, Kerala (On-site)

Duration: 5 Days

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Full Stack Developer Trainer to conduct an intensive, hands-on training program for students/professionals in Thrissur. The trainer will deliver engaging sessions covering both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring participants gain practical and industry-relevant skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 5 days of classroom-based, hands-on training (6 hours/day).
• Deliver sessions on Full Stack Web Development (MERN / MEAN / Java / Python stack – depending on expertise).
• Explain fundamental and advanced concepts with real-world examples and projects.
• Provide mentorship and guidance during coding exercises and assignments.
• Prepare short assessments and review participants’ progress.
• Ensure high levels of engagement and interactivity throughout the sessions.

Topics to Cover (can be customized):

Front-End:

• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap / Tailwind
• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (optional)
• React.js / Angular fundamentals

Back-End:

• Node.js with Express.js / Django / Spring Boot
• REST API development and integration

Database:

• MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL

Version Control & Deployment:

• Git & GitHub
• Basic CI/CD and deployment concepts (optional)

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Proven experience in corporate or academic training.
• Strong practical knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Compensation:

Soft Skills Trainer — Key Responsibilities

• Assess training needs and identify areas for development.
• Design and develop interactive training materials (presentations, handouts, self-assessments).
• Deliver engaging workshops and training sessions (in-person or virtual).
• Provide one-on-one coaching and constructive feedback.
• Track trainee progress and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align training with organizational goals.
• Stay current with industry trends and adapt training accordingly.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in fields like Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in training delivery or facilitation.
• Strong communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills—empathy, active listening, and motivational coaching.
• Organizational strength: adept at planning, time management, and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with instructional design or training methodologies is a plus.
• Tech-savviness, including comfort with presentation tools and learning platforms.

About the job

We are looking for new team members with a technical background to help us change the education landscape of India! The role of the technical tutor is to set up the study program modules, facilitate or organize additional events together with our partners under the supervision of the Head of Tech and support the students through the program and ensure that the content is made available to the students.

Role & responsibilities

• Understand the 01Edu System curriculum and content, ability to implement instructions to modify platform content and know the platform inside and out.
• Perform audits of student work during the test period.
• Communicate with students during sprint (piscines) and study period and answer their questions.
• Monitor students progress and guide them
• Be able to identify platform bugs and communicate with the manager and/or 01 tech team.
• Initiate or support with organizing tech events and collaborations (demo days, hackathons, partners’ activities)
• Query the database to perform analytics and extract insights.
• Ensure data backup and implement specific actions to maintain data integrity and building security
• Work collaboratively with 01Edu team on the platform use
• Regularly conduct performance analysis on students progress, identify and encourage students to overcome obstacles
• Have credibility with corporate partners (ex. understand technical inputs for a hackathon).

Our ideal candidate

• Has a computer science background, has experience with multiple programming languages and feels comfortable learning new languages (such as Go)
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, controllers is a plus
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
