Job Description:

We are looking for 2-3 year expierenced React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

Skills

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
• Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio.
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites, like (Jest or Mocha)

Relevant work experience as a UI Developer. Proficient in JavaScript/Typescript and
ReactJS and/or React-Native and Redux.
Experience working with NextJS.
Deep understanding of RESTful technologies, microservices, and API integration
Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
Systemic exposure to VCSl (GIT), Issue tracking (JIRA), Knowledge based
(Confluence)
Exposure to AWS and DevOps culture
Experience with Writing unit tests using JEST
Exposure to Axios, Lodash and other common front-end development tools such as
Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Ability to continuously structure and organize the code base, anticipate
technical-debt, and do peer code reviews.
Good to have: Domain knowledge in the BFSI tech stack.

 

• Substantial experience in building large complex and performant web applications using HTML5, CSS3, Typescript and Javascript across multiple browsers (Especially IE11).
• Experience in frameworks such as React (Redux, Redux Thunk or Saga, React Router, React Hooks) , Node JS and good understanding of the basics of these frameworks and their life cycles.(MUST HAVE)
• Experience in frameworks like Bootstrap and CSS pre-processors like SASS and LESS is desirable.
• Deeper understanding of network layer, HTTP, HTTPS, cookies, local storage.
• Knowledge to handle real-time async data would be a plus.
• Good knowledge on build tools like Webpack and Gulp
• Good knowledge on testing tools like Jest, Cypress, Jasmine, Karma, etc
• Experience in Git source control 
• Deeper understanding of Chrome Dev Tools.
• Deeper knowledge of UI optimizations and performance.
• Excellent communication skills, good visual design sense, in-depth experience in developing web-based applications.
• Experience leading multi engineer projects and mentoring junior engineers.

 What you will be doing :
- - You will be working on consumer product made using React.js, Redux and TypeScript in front-end used by thousands of India’s best business students and working professionals, plus leading a team of front-end developers.

- Taking control of the development of these products, work in association with technology team to maintain and build these platforms
 
- Leading the team of front-end developers and defining the technology roadmap

- Interacting with a product and design teams to spec, build, test and deploy new features

What you need :
