Position Summary

We are seeking an exceptional iOS Developer to join our esteemed team. As a key member of our organization, you will collaborate with existing Android developers to enhance and upgrade our flagship product, Unolo. Your primary responsibility will be to implement new features such as a collections or payments module. Additionally, your expertise will contribute to scaling our customer base and driving revenue growth. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the founder and be an integral part of our close-knit team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional iOS development experience including experience in Swift.

As part of the Mobile SDK Engineering team at Flyy, here are some things you can expect:

• Take ownership and be responsible for what you build - no micromanagement
• Work with customer success team to enable Flyy customers to adopt Insights-led engagement in different industry sectors like e-Commerce, FinTech, OTT, Social, entertainment, travel, telco, food-tech etc.
• Explore the latest in topics like Mobile development, SDK, iOS, Android, tvOS various mobile hybrid frameworks and share with the team and more importantly, have fun while you work on scaling Flyy.

Skills Required :

• Minimum 1 years experience in iOS Development
• Minimum 6 months or 1 year of experience in Native Mobile Development
• Minimum 6 months or 1 year of experience in React-Native/Flutter framework
• Should be thorough with different architectures used in Mobile Development
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Android/iOS framework:
• Multithreading concepts
• Persistent data storage
• Rest APIs Implementation
• Should know the internals of the mobile build and distribution processes
• Ready to learn and develop in any cross-platform frameworks
• Should be able to capture bottlenecks and improve them without or little supervision
• Awareness of Secure Development process and practices
• Awareness on Information Security concepts and Best Practices

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of other cross-platform frameworks i.e., Cordova, Unity, etc
• Experience in working and shipping SDKs/plugins

Developing, releasing, and maintaining native Android Applications and oversee mobile application development efforts 

Deliver across the entire app life cycle, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores, and support

Working directly with product and backend developers to conceptualize, build, test, and realize products

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Optimizing performance for the apps and keeping up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies

Key Skills

• Must have experience building apps using fluter, good knowledge on dart. Preferably built and deployed couple of apps both on iOS and Android
• Good knowledge in integrating or developing app functions using firebase
• Must have ported at least 2 applications on iOS and Android platforms. Exposure to the entire build piepline is a must.
• Has good knowledge on how native android and iOS apps work. Must have experience building iOS native apps
• Has an understanding on Computer vision and basic deep learning concepts. Any prototypes of proof of concepts are a big plus.

What they need to do?

• Code - write or learn to write clean code, understand design patterns and develop a quick turnaround time to ship updates
• UI/UX - understand design guidlines and implement them in the project
• Communication - communicate project goals clearly to the team. Understand and convert project requirements in to actionable steps

We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. iOS Developer:

1 to 5 years of experience in iOS mobile application development

• Proficient with Swift and Cocoa Touch
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Location etc
• Experience in Design patterns such as POP, MVVM, CleanSwift, Facade
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Understanding of Git

 Proven working experience of minimum 3+ Years in Android app development (Min 2Yrs. experience in Kotlin)

- Have strong knowledge in Kotlin and Java.

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
