React Native Developer (Full-Time)

📍Work from Office – Malad, Mumbai

We are hiring a React Native Developer for Websites.co.in, a platform used by millions of businesses to create their websites in minutes. You will build and improve our mobile experience used by small business owners globally.

Your role:

• Build and maintain mobile apps using React Native
• Implement clean, reusable components and UI screens
• Integrate REST APIs and handle JSON data efficiently
• Work on app performance, loading speed, and smooth UX
• Debug issues, fix crashes, and improve app stability
• Collaborate with product, backend, and QA teams to ship features
• Participate in testing, code reviews, and release cycles

What we expect:

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and React Native basics
• Familiarity with navigation, state management, and component lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with APIs, third-party libraries, and async storage
• Knowledge of Git for version control
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
• Bonus: experience with Redux / Context API, Android or iOS builds, or publishing apps
• 0–3 years of experience (freshers with good projects can apply)

Tech Stack / Requirements:

1. Experience required: 1 - 2 yrs atleast
2. Candidates must be from an IT Engineering background (B.E./B.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields), B.Sc. IT, BCA or related fields.
3. Strong understanding of JavaScript
4. Experience with React Native / Expo
5. Familiarity with SQL
6. Exposure to REST APIs integration
7. Fast learner with strong problem-solving & debugging skills

Responsibilities:

1. Build & improve mobile app features using React Native / Expo
2. Develop and maintain web features using React.js / Next.js
3. Integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences across platforms
4. Collaborate with backend & design teams for end-to-end development
5. Debug & optimize performance across mobile and web
6. Write clean, maintainable code and ship to production regularly

Work closely with the founding team / CTO and contribute to product launches

Growth: Performance-based growth with significant hikes possible in the same or upcoming months.

• 0-2 years of software experience in front-end mobile/web app development
• Good understanding of concurrency and multithreading
• Full Stack development experience building data, logic tier and user experience software
• Exposure to Android SDK (experience in AndroidTV framework will be a plus)
• Knowledge of REST, JSON, MQTT, Databases, Networking technologies
• React | React Native, Multi-platform exposure is a plus
• Experience with Agile development processes is a plus

• You will be having an impact on our 1.7M users every day.
• You will be rolling out experiments and working closely with our product managers and design team to validate and build new features.
• Monitoring apps and fixing bugs for improving performance.
• Refactoring/Rewriting obsolete code to align with the new architecture.
• Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Experience: 1- 5 yrs in android development

Expertise:

• Kotlin
• Live Data and other Android Jetpack components
• DI (Dagger/Hilt)
• Design patterns MVVM, MVI
• Multithreading (Coroutines)
• Offline Storage
• Remote data interaction via REST and JSON

Hands-on experience:

• Git
• CI/CD
• Third-party analytics like Amplitude, Clevertap, etc..
• Common third-party libraries and APIs like (Glide, retrofit...)
• Firebase products (FireStore/ RealTimeDB/ FCM..)
• Writing custom views
• Text-based UIs like notes, reader, etc..
• Publishing/Updating apps on Google Play and other stores (Huawei/Xiaomi...)

Good to have:

• Basic understanding of clean architecture.
• Simple data structure and algorithm understanding.
• Basic understanding of AWS services and products
• Strong design intuition and user empathy.
• Should be aware of future technologies in the Android ecosystem.
• You should be quick in understanding the hypothesis, and build the experiment and make it available to a user
• We prefer people who are highly experimental and willing to take risks.
• Experience in training or mentoring team members.

JOB DESCRIPTION :          

• A full stack Engineer who is well versed in React-Native ad IOS/ANDROID development. 
• Can Understand and develop REACT NATIVE and knows how to bridge. 
• Can update React-native version along with the primeware/library update. 
• Has experience in using react-native, redux, redux thunk. 
• Has developed programs using React components and knows how to re-use it. 
• Has an overall understanding on ANDROID/IOS/UI/UX design.
• Can develop external primeware API like Google firebase. 
• Can develop media player controller and PDF viewer.
• Has operated or distributed multi-lingual services and country based services.
• Can manage and distribute playstore/appstore.  
• Can maintain and manage the version through GIT.    

EXTRA QUALIFICATIONS :

• Can develop codes for modules, tests and maintenance. 
• Has experience distributing through Code-push.
