Android Developer

We are looking for a passionate Android engineer to join our engineering team at Airveda, to solve real problems that impact millions of people. You will be one of the initial engineering hires and an integral part of the product development process. You will contribute to designing and developing our Android app as well as APIs and backend components/layers in existing and new modules. Qualifications * Strong knowledge of Android SDK and up-to-date with recent developments. * Proven experience with one or more apps published in the app store/ released in Github. * Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic knowledge about backend systems. * Experience with Android Architecture components - LiveData, ViewModel, Room and Databinding. * Experience with Play Services/ Firebase libraries - Maps, Auth and Crashlytics. * Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. * Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. * Intermediate level proficiency in Kotlin. * Familiarity with most used and powerful frameworks Retrofit2, OkHttp3, FirebaseJobDispatcher.
