Job Responsibilities

▪️ Develop, maintain, and enhance iOS applications using Swift and the iOS SDK.

▪️ Build user interfaces using UIKit / SwiftUI, Auto Layout, and Interface Builder.

▪️ Implement and maintain application architecture using MVC / MVVM.

▪️ Integrate REST APIs, handle JSON parsing, and work with third-party SDKs.

▪️ Manage App Store deployments, including certificates and provisioning profiles.

▪️ Optimize application performance, memory usage, handle debugging effectively.

▪️ Ensure code quality, scalability, and adherence to iOS best practices.

▪️ Collaborate with Backend, Android, QA, and Product teams for smooth delivery.

▪️ Work independently on assigned tasks and deliver within defined timelines.

We are looking for a React Native Engineer for our Mobile App. The Mobile App team is responsible for the mobile app used by our B2C users to register as well as complete their journey with Udrive cars initiation to end.

Your responsibilities:

You will be part of our new mobile team which is part of our customer journey domain and you will work together with a cross-functional team

You strive to offer the best possible experience for our customers on mobile devices

You contribute to the implementation of business requirements as well as to architectural decisions

You ensure that your code is well tested, architected, meets our coding standards, and has proper logging, monitoring, and alerting

Your goal is to provide always-accessible information in the most convenient way, to have better engagement and an overall outstanding user experience

Your profile:

You have experience building high-performance mobile React Native applications on both iOS and Android platforms

Ability to translate Figma based designs to mobile interactions with pixel perfections

You show excellent knowledge of JavaScript and its nuances, including TypeScript.

You have experience with building real-time analytics solutions and streaming platforms

You are familiar with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle and store submission processes

It is great if you have an understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

Job description:

Responsible for developing high quality software for automotive/multimedia products, and

building deep understanding in cutting-edge technologies

Follow software development life cycle, industry standard processes, and work closely with

customers and partners

Basic eligibility criteria:

1. experience in embedded systems platform/middleware development in

Linux/Android

2. Proficient in C/C++/Java and OOPS concepts

3.Hands-on experience in multi-threaded programming, IPC's and OS concepts

4. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Automotive domain, Android

programming, Multimedia frameworks

5. Candidate should be self-motivated and a go-getter who can quickly learn new things to solve

real-world programming challenges

Desirable skills:

1. Expertise in Android frameworks, JNI, AIDL and HIDL

2. Epertise in automotive infotainment technologies like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto,

Bluetooth, WiFi, Multimedia, etc

3. Expertise in multimedia or audio/video frameworks like Android Media, gstreamer, alsa,

openssl, openmax, etc

• Create and maintain mobile applications.
• Contributing to the development of project schedules and workflows.
• Recommending changes and enhancements to applications.
• Work from UI/UX requirements, APIs and mock-ups to build functional and high-performance applications.
• Keep abreast of the latest technology for mobile applications.
• Work with other developers to brainstorm new applications.
• Create UI tests to source analytics.

• Own the delivery of multiple features of the product end to end while hands-on in development as well
• Advocate best development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automation (testing and infrastructure) and code modularity, extensibility, quality
• Adopt security- first approach in the product development and ensure automated and manual security checks in place across the delivery pipeline
• Lead by example and mentor other developers in the team both technically and professionally
• Support other Senior Product Engineers and contribute to their growth professionally
• Work with  tech leads and the team to ensure shared technology vision and develop state of the art design and architecture for any product development
• Work with other functions such as testing, analysis, infra management, support to ensure faster delivery of products
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with broader team in order to share understanding of product functionality, features, and technology vision
• Look out for technology trends across the industry and apply relevant developments to the products
• Work with the decentralised application business owners to ensure their vision is realised through efficient technology and delivery timelines

• Must have extensive hands on experiencing designing and building mobile applications on Android
• Must have excellent programming, debugging and scripting skills with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles

• Knowledge of software practices like refactoring, clean code, domain driven design, Encapsulation etc 
• Hands on experience managing databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis
• Exposure to event driven systems and event streaming engines like Kafka
• Good knowledge of DevOps tooling like docker, kubernetes, ansible/chef, AWS.
• Solid OO skills, including strong design patterns knowledge and enterprise integration

1. Minimum 4+ years of mobile application development experience in native and excellent coding skills in Swift, RxSwift, RxCocoa, Objective-C
2. Any experience on MVVM, VIPER
3. Should have deep knowledge of the iOS SDK and IDE development tools.
4. Experience developing client-server applications using technologies and web services APIs such as JSON, REST.
5. Has hands-on experience with unit testing.
6. Extensive experience in using various architecture, frameworks, and design patterns in designing/refactoring a highly optimized mobile is a must.
7. Solid understanding of the agile development process and experience.
8. Experience working in TDD (Test Driven Development) and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Deployment) environment is a plus.
9. Implement clean and manageable code incorporating best practices on security
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams from both offshore and onsite to define, design, and ship new features.
11. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
12. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
13. Review code, bug triage and execute multiple releases as per business demand
14. Involvement with API team to design request / response contract
