AWS Database developer

Role: .NET Developer

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Post-secondary degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline, or equivalent working experience.
• Development of distributed applications with Microsoft technologies: C# .NET/Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework.
• Deep expertise with microservices architectures and design patterns.
• Cloud Native AWS experience with services such as Lambda, SQS, RDS/Aurora, S3, Lex, and Polly.
• Mastery of both Windows and Linux environments and their use in the development and management of complex distributed systems architectures.
• Git source code repository and continuous integration tools.
• Proficient with debugging and profiling distributed systems.

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Develop new features and functionality in SteelEye's best breed SaaS application
• Work on setup API Developer for our growing SaaS product
• Ensure the software is up-to-date with latest technologies
• Triage issues and enhance core features of our existing API's for rapidly growing client base
• Design and architech our API layer solving problems around scale and performance
• Be part of great team building a fantastic product!

What we’re looking for

• You are experienced Python Developer, with minimum 5 years in commercial Python experience
• You have experience building REST-based API's using Flask, Django or FastAPI in a production environment
• You have excellent knowledge of data structures, software design patterns and software architecture
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing requirements
• You have experience with code versioning (Git) and CI/CD (Jenkins, Circle, etc..) tools
• Familiarity/Experience with Elasticsearch is a huge plus
• Familiarity/Experience with FastAPI nice to have

Must-Have:

• Core Java (Must be good in Core Java concepts, Java programming practices, Clean coding.)
• Spring Framework(Must have working experience in Spring Core)
• Any SQL framework(hands-on working experience in any of these: Hibernate/JPA/MyBatis/Spring Data/Others)
• Hands-on experience in REST API
• Hands-on experienceSQL Database(any of the databases: Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQLServer)
• Must have working experience with basic GIT
• Maven or Gradle (Must have working experience in building Java projects using maven or Gradle.)
• Should be able to work independently under someone's guidance.

Good to have:

• Advanced Java(Threading, Performance optimization)
• Spring Boot
• Other Spring frameworks(Spring Security, Spring Batch, Others)
• Microservices - Any NoSQL database(MongoDB, Cassandra, others)
• Application designing concepts.

•  2 - 6 years of software development experience
•  Good grasp on programming fundamentals including OOP, Design Patterns and Data Structures
•  Excellent analytical, logical and problem-solving skills
• Software Development Engineer
• Good understanding of complexities involved in designing/developing large scale systems
• Strong system design skills
•  Experience in technologies like Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka etc
• Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with common machine learning algorithms. In-depth knowledge is a plus
• Experience of working with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive is a big plus
• Ability to understand business requirements and take ownership of the work
• Exhibit passion and enthusiasm for building and maintaining large scale platforms
