ASP.NET MVC/Core Developers

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Go Lang.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that adheres to best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Go Lang development.
• Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Key Responsibilities:

- Customize and develop Odoo modules as per business requirements.

- Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and APIs.

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug issues in existing modules.

- Create and maintain technical documentation.

- Migrate data and Odoo versions as needed.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, QA, UI/UX).

- Optimize performance and scalability of the Odoo platform.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of Python and Odoo framework.

- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, QWeb and OWL.

- Experience with Odoo's core modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, etc.).

- Familiarity with Odoo Studio and Odoo.sh is a plus.

Minimum requirements

5+ years of industry software engineering experience (does not include internships nor includes co-ops)

Strong coding skills in any programming language (we understand new languages can be learned on the job so our interview process is language agnostic)

Strong collaboration skills, can work across workstreams within your team and contribute to your peers’ success

Have the ability to thrive on a high level of autonomy, responsibility, and think of yourself as entrepreneurial

Interest in working as a generalist across varying technologies and stacks to solve problems and delight both internal and external users

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems

Good understanding and practical knowledge in cloud based services (e.g. gRPC, GraphQL, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud services such as AWS, etc.)

• Implement best practices for the engineering team across code hygiene, overall architecture design, testing, and deployment activities
• Drive technical decisions for building data pipelines, data lakes, and analyst access.
• Act as a leader within the engineering team, providing support and mentorship for teammates across functions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
• Experienced developer in large data environments
• Experience using Git productively in a team environment
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Ability to sit with business or technical SMEs to listen, learn and propose technical solutions to business problems

·       Experience using and adapting to new technologies

·       Take and understand business requirements and goals

·       Work collaboratively with project managers and stakeholders to make sure that all aspects of the project are delivered as planned

·       Strong SQL skills with MySQL or PostgreSQL

• Experience with non-relational databases and their role in web architectures desired

 Knowledge and Experience:

• Good experience with Elixir and functional programming a plus

• Several years of python experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Proven verbal and written cross-department and customer communication skills

Technical:

• Rich experience with .NET Core (MVC)
• Strong C# and object-oriented programming skills
• Working knowledge of MSSQL 2016 or Above
• Html5, CSS3, LINQ, Entity Framework 6.X
• Provide best practices for Client-Side scripting using JQuery, ReactJS
• Previous experience with Web API, Restful APIs
• Core Architecture and Design Patterns (Builder, Generic Repository)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. GIT, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with IoT projects would be added advantage
