Job Description:     

We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by the UI team into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is a bonus.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding security compliance
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding of Relational Databases
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• 8-15 years relevant progressive experience.

Description of Skills/abilities:

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing those with well-known React.js workflows such as Redux. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is a must.

You will be responsible for architecting and building the applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities

1. Developing new user-facing features using React.js, React hooks.
2. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
3. Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
4. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and all browsers.
5. Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across all web browsers.
6. Diagnose, fix bugs, maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
7. Key understanding about Object Oriented Programming, Web Architecture, SDLC, Rest Framework.
8. Should have understanding in Hybrid App Ecosystem, Code Once - Deploy Anywhere thought process.
9. Responsible for development of new highly-responsive, web-based user interface.
10. Construct visualizations that are able to depict vast amounts of data.
11. Work with product team and graphic designers.
12. Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it React.js developer requirements and qualifications.
13. Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support). Produce fully functional web, mobile applications writing clean code.

Skills

1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
2. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
3. Having Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Redux.
4. Familiarity with newer specifications of Typescript.
5. Having Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
6. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
7. Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
8. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
9. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
10. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
11. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN.
12. Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming.
13. Ability to write well-documented, clean typescript code.
14. Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
15. Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.

Skill Set:

React, React Hooks, Redux, and Typescript with minimum of 6+ Years of relevant Experience.

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities:

1. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
2. Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
3. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
4. Implementation of security and data protection.
5. Integration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc. Experience administering innovation with methodologies such as design thinking.
6. Experience working on Agile Scrum and DevOps aligned delivery teams.
7. Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
8. Strong communication skills and great product sense.
9. Proficient communication skills verbal and written.
10. Understanding of accessibility and security compliance depending on the specific project.
11. Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
12. Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
13. Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python, using of Pycham.
14. Understanding of the differences between multiple deliveries platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
15. Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
16. Strong unit test and debugging skills.

Skills:

1. Expert in Python, with knowledge in Python web framework such as Django, Flask depending on technology stack.
2. Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
3. Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
4. Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.
5. Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack.
6. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, Typescript, react, react hooks, HTML5, and CSS3.
7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN.

Skill Set:

1. 4+Years Full stack Python Developer - exposure to web frameworks like Django, Flask and Falcon.
2. Experience building APIs for a rapidly iterating product and restful APIs and development of services layer using Pythons Flask framework and should be proficient in writing unit test cases using Pytest package.
3. Database level programming using both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and No SQL (Mongo DB/Casandra) and designing the database level stored procedures and persistence logic.
4. HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript framework and knowledge on React JS is a plus.
5. Experience in developing Arduino libraries is an added advantage.
6. Experience working with two or more from the following: Web Application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development
