Roles & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a leader and a quick learner. He/she should be able to operate in a very fast-paced environment where time to market is crucial. He/she will be the technology thought leader for the group making important tech decisions. He/she will need to balance technical leadership and savvy with strong product judgment to make the right decisions. In this role, you will:

Manage the team of engineers to architects, and deliver an impactful product with the best technical design.

Insists best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.

Manage departmental resources, staffing, and mentoring and enhance and maintain a best-in-class engineering team.

Prepare technical requirements and design specifications from the functional requirements.

Proactively report on the progress of development, quality, operations, and system performance to stakeholders.
Eligibility
-
8+ years of experience in building, managing, and mentoring large-scale agile teams (preferably SaaS applications) as an Engineering Manager, specific to large-scale Web Applications.

Solid track record for consistent delivery of high-quality products.
-
Strong project management skills, ability to track multiple executions simultaneously without missing deadlines.
-
Extensive experience in developing solutions using JavaScript/C#/Java/Ruby/Python and RDMS.
-
Experience in designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
-
Knowledge of coding standards, SOLID principles, and industry best practices.
-
Experience with version control tools (Github/GitLab/Bitbucket).
-
Knowledge of CI/CD and other DevOps practices is an added advantage.

Experience in coordinating with cross-platform teams (Web, API, and Mobile Apps) is an added advantage.
