Talview is seeking experienced frontend developer to join our engineering team building next generation reactive web app applications for the talview platform. We're looking for passionate, creative developers who are excited about solving new problems. As a developer, you will work through the full project lifecycle to design, develop, test, implement and support the web applications. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment on highly impactful projects. We don't expect you to know everything coming in, so we'll pair you with mentors who will help you grow and develop your skills.

Skills & Requirements

We expect to see:

• 2-5 year of experience.
• Expertise with JavaScript and modern JS reactive frameworks like React JS/ Vue / Svelte.
• Experience writing semantic HTML5 markup and CSS3.
• Expertise developing web apps with responsive/adaptive design and progressive enhancement.
• Understanding of major browsers and the special considerations required for various quirks.
• Experience with mobile web development.
• Experience with Node.js, package management, build systems (webpack/rollup/esbuild) and the OSS ecosystem.
• Experience with VCS and Git in particular.
• A strong design sense and knowledge of how product design affects UI/UX.
• Strong Javascript foundation and clear understanding of Javascript classes, prototype based inheritance, modules, etc.

We like to see (but not required):

• An active Stack Overflow and Github profile
• Prior experience with UI frameworks and javascript
• Any open source code or example projects that you're proud of
• Experience in developing SaaS products with an engaged user base
• Any other evidence of your passion for building great applications

Lead Engineer - Frontend

We are seeking a Lead Engineer (Frontend) to join our world-class engineering team building the next generation applications. We're looking for passionate, creative developers who are excited about solving new problems. This position will be reporting to the Engineering Mgr. Work will primarily be in javascript in the initial months.

An ideal candidate would have:

• Excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles
• 5+ years of experience in Web application development using React or MVC frameworks Backbone.js, Ember.js, AngularJS
• Expertise in browser compatible HTML5 & CSS3 standards, CSS preprocessors and familiarity with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Semantic)
• Knowledge of AJAX concepts, communication protocols & data services
• Ability to discuss and design along the concepts of: MVC, REST, OOPS, and productivity, maintainability and scalability of the written code
• Experience in deploying web application across various environments

Lead Engineer - Backend

We are seeking a Lead Engineer (Backend) to join our world-class engineering team building the next generation applications. We're looking for passionate, creative developers who are excited about solving new problems. This position will be reporting to the Engineering Mgr. Work will primarily be in nodejs to begin with.

An ideal candidate would have:

• Excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles
• 5+ years of experience with any combination of backend languages: nodejs, PHP, Java, C++
• Expertise with messaging queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Ability to discuss and design along the concepts of: MVC, REST, OOPS, and productivity, maintainability and scalability of the written code
• Ability to write optimized queries in any SQL
