Role overview:

As a founding senior software engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our AI-powered social network for fashion and e-commerce. responsibilities include solving complex deep-tech challenges to build scalable ai/ml solutions, leading backend development for performance and scalability, and architecting and integrating software aligned with product strategy and innovation goals. you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address real consumer problems and build robust ai/ml pipelines to drive product innovation.

What we’re looking for:

• 1–3 years of Python experience (golang is a plus), with expertise in concurrency, fast API, restful APIs, and microservices.
• proficiency in Postgresql/MongoDB, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/azure), and containerization tools like docker/Kubernetes.
• strong experience in asynchronous programming, ci/cd pipelines, and version control (git).
• excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Now, what we’re looking for & our expectations

Note: We don’t care about your qualifications as long as you have the required knowledge for the role and a strong sense of ownership in whatever you do.

• You are extremely proficient in React Native, building pixel-perfect UIs for mobile platforms.
• Impeccable design sense – creating highly polished, beautiful user interfaces is second nature to you.
• Strong understanding of mobile development fundamentals like cross-platform compatibility, and performance optimization.
• Having experience with native programming languages like kotlin & swift is a ++.
• Familiarity with animations and transitions in mobile apps.
• Experience with integrating APIs into mobile apps and handling platform-specific needs for iOS and Android.
• Take ownership of the mobile architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability of the app.
• Continuously improve the performance and reliability of our mobile application, identifying areas for enhancement.
• Move fast, but polish things – we care about good design, but it doesn’t slow us down.
• Collaborate closely with designers and product teams to translate UI/UX designs into code.
• Have experience building beautiful, scalable, responsive, and cross-device compatible mobile applications.
• You’ve worked in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (ideally another startup) and can drive things forward with little oversight.
• You’ve previously built a consumer product or worked at a top consumer company before.

As a founding software engineer, your major role would be to take full ownership of development & scaling of backend, collaborating with AI-ML engineers to develop scalable pipelines. You be deeply involved in Software Development, Testing, Integration, Partner collaboration and technical Design and Innovation aligned with product strategy.

• 3-5 yrs+ experience with python & concurrency, having experience with golang is a plus
• Taking ownership of the complete backend & development cycles, having great knowledge of frontend is a plus
• Be core part of code and design reviews and make sure our products bar is high on coding and design standards and on Engineering fundamentals
• Taking high level decisions on designing systems across all engineering
• Represent in the Engineering Shiprooms and make technical tradeoffs.
• Hands on development for critical platform features in partnership with ICs.

As a founding AI-ML Engineer, you will build & train foundation models from scratch, fine-tune existing models as per the use-case, scraping large sums of data, design pipelines for data ingestion, processing & scalability of systems. Not just this, you’ll also be working on recommendation systems, particularly algorithm design & planning the execution from day one.

• Design and deploy advanced machine learning models in Computer Vision including object detection & similarity matching
• Implement scalable data pipelines, optimize models for performance and accuracy, and ensure they are production-ready with MLOps
• Take part in code reviews, share knowledge, and lead by example to maintain high-quality engineering practices
• In terms of technical skills, you should have a high proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow & PyTorch
• Experience with cloud platforms and knowledge of deploying models in production environments
• Have decent understanding of Reinforcement Learning and some understanding of Agentic AI & LLM-Ops
• First-hand experience with scalable Backend Engineering would put you on the first consideration over other candidates
