Job Description
We’re a small team with insanely large ambitions. We are looking for a Software Engineer who will help shape Safe Gold’s product and marketing strategies by processing, analyzing and interpreting data sets. You will work closely with the tech, product and business teams for designing and developing a scalable application architecture, based on business requirements. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in
PHP and Relational as well as NoSql Databases (MySQL,MongoDB). You will have strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction to thrive in our work environment.
What will your job entail:
● Implement a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application.
● Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
● Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
● Implement security and data protection as per industry standards.
● Monitor the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
● Coordinate with the product team to understand the requirements and formulate a detailed technical documentation.
● Assist junior developers if required.
Key Requirements:
● 4-7 years of experience in software development, at least 1 year of experience in a product based startup is preferable
● Strong understanding of MVC Architecture
● Atleast 2-3 years of working experience in PHP is a must have and proficiency in Laravel Framework will be a plus
● Proficient knowledge of both Relational as well as NoSql Databases (MySQL,MongoDB) is a must have
● Working knowledge of Python and Django/Flask Framework is good to have
● Familiarity with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS
● Strong understanding of fundamental design principles to build a scalable application.
● Experience with implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git).
● At least 2 years of experience working on AWS cloud platform, using tools like EC2,RDS,Lambda, SQS, Elasticache

with the tech and product teams to navigate SafeGold’s codebase, identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You'll have a huge
impact on the quality of SafeGold’s growing suite of products and services. You will be responsible for monitoring every phase of the development process and ensuring that the design and software adhere to the company standards.
What will your job entail:
● Document Test Cases.
● Develop and maintain automation suite throughout the product life cycle.
● Develop data driven test automation scripts and execute tests.
● Utilize innovative test technologies to develop application testing strategy.
● Analyse and debug the test data to identify the root cause of failures.
● Actively communicate test progress, results and other relevant information to project
stakeholders.
● Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
● 5-6 year(s) experience in Manual + Automation Testing. At least 2 years of proven experience in
an early stage startup is a must have
● Familiarity with Automation tools like Selenium.
● Proficiency in writing test scripts(Java/Python).
● Basic knowledge of build tools like Jenkins.
● Basic Understanding of OOPS.
● Knowledge of Load test tools like Locust,Jmeter.
● Degree in Computer Engineering or relevant fields

Color Neon is a French brand that designs and manufactures custom LED neon signs. A customer sends us their text, logo or artwork and we turn it into a made-to-measure sign: they choose the font, colour and size, preview it in 3D, and see it on their own wall before they order.
We sell direct across France and Europe from colorneon.com. More than 10,000 homes, bars, restaurants, shops and event planners have bought from us. Every sign is handcrafted, energy-efficient LED neon with a 2-year warranty.
The business runs on Shopify. We built our own 3D neon configurator so customers can design their sign in the browser, and we work AI-first: the team uses Claude and Codex every day to build, test and ship.
We are now opening our first engineering seat in India, in Indore. Until now every technical decision has been made remotely from France. That changes with this hire: one engineer, sitting with the founder, owning the Shopify apps, the storefront rebuild and the configurator. One product, long term, with real ownership.
