Job Title - Sr. Full Stack Developer

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

 

• Help in the process of development for the Consumer Services web applications, improving existing features of the product and working on new features as we continue to scale.
• Management from the database based in MySQL.
• Manage the developments and maintenance for APIs, and have good understanding of Soap/ REST web service.
• Excellent understanding in HTML, CSS, Js, understanding the UX requirements.
• Coordinate and develop web applications with experience in J2EE, Struts Framework, SPRING BOOT, Hibernate, Apache, CXF, JMS, MQ.
• Ensure the right documentation for the future product development.
• Ensuring code quality and standards while meeting deadlines and delivering targets set by the product team.

Required

The Application Architect is responsible for designing software in a way that maximizes re-usability, stability, and maintainability as well as ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Our client is implementing an on-prem to cloud migration strategy, the Application Architect plays a key role in terms of defining the target architecture and driving the implementation towards it.

DESCRIPTION OF MAIN TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Collaborate with senior management to align overall software development strategy 
• Define and enforce software architecture design principles, including the overall software ecosystem (application, logging, monitoring, scaling, software packaging…) 
• Define and enforce software development principles, including but not limited to: technology choices, coding standards, logging standards, code reviews, code factorization, unit tests etc… 
• Design the target software architecture, plan, and oversee software development activities to achieve the target state 
• Support R&D activities and ensure the most adequate technology and architecture is implemented to maximize the outcome 
• Ensure non-functional requirements are met at all times (performance, maintainability, supportability, cost-effectiveness) 

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in software engineering, application development or similar 

 

• Minimum 10 year’s experience working in Application Development 
• Minimum 5 years experience in Application Architecture 
• Strong experience in designing and implementing micro-services-based solutions 
• Strong experience with containerized applications and end-to-end automated software delivery process (code repository, CI/CD, container image repository, …) 
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on the cloud (preferably AWS) 
• Highly proficient with a wide range of programming languages and frameworks (Java, Spring Boot, Python, SQL, …) 
• Experience working with container orchestration systems (K8s, Redshift, AWS ECS, or other) 
• A constant learner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the latest technology trends and how to apply them 
• Experience in an application monitoring tool, ideally Dynatrace 
• Experience in performance testing, performance planning and costing exercises 

Full-stack developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. Documentation is essential for the sustained growth of digital products. 

 

This role will also coordinate the relationship with the rest of the IT development team to be aligned with technology, security and technical requirements. Expected to work with departments like Product, IT, Analytics and UX.

Education / Certification

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's (Professional Degree in Engineering Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent)
• Certification in UFT and Jmeter or Automation Testing would be an added advantage
• Equipped with at least 5-8 years of QA experience.
• Equipped with at least4-5 years of UFT and Automation Testing experience
• Fluency in verbal and written communication skills in English

Functional Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute reusable and maintainable automated scripts using UFT and relevant framework
• Effective analytical skills of the system or application-under-test.

• Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities
• Execute all test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
• Carry out regression testing.
• Updating Project Manager / Test Lead regularly about the progress of testing activities.
• Be familiar with all testing documentation.
• Plan testing at different stages within the development cycle, including formulation of testing objectives and quality criteria,development of testing strategy and recommending testing approach; ensure cohesive integration of test and development activities.
• Able to Test WebServices -XML / SOAP and RESTFul services using SoapUI and Postmantool
• Carry out regular integration testing and system testing of software using SQL Server databases. Organize and conduct user acceptance and release testing of the software
• Prepare and submit reports on work progress on a regular basis
• Work closely with Product Owner and Vendor team to translate business requirements into Test Scenario with the guidance of other senior team members.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the CTVM Manager in assessing and ensuring the management of cyber threats and vulnerabilities, as well as the implementation of security controls.

Expected outcome:

Proactive enterprise CTVM program to ensure digital assets and IT environment are secured and resilient.

Job Duties:

• Assist the Manager with the planning, analysis, development of framework and deployment of CTVM program.
• Assist in continuous day-to-day operations of CTVMprogramincluding managing external CTVM service providers and scoping, scheduling, scanning, prioritizing and remediating IT vulnerabilities
• Assist in maintaining a current and comprehensive inventory of all IT hardware and software within the IT environment, including cloud.
• Assist in ensuring periodic static application security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST) or any form of application security testing is conducted.
• Assist the Manager in maintaining current cyber threat model 
•  Assist in identifying dependencies and timelines required to address vulnerabilities, including system patching, deployment of specialized controls, code or infrastructure changes, and changes in build engineering processes
• Assist in the development of policies, procedures and standard operating models for the CTVM program.
• Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Assist in data collection and maintenance of technical and management cyber security dashboard.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic reporting to management on the outcomes of the CTVM program.
• Provide technical advisory services to our stakeholders to ensure an enterprise-wide resilient IT environment with regard to cyber security.

Essential Qualifications & Technical CompetenceFormal Education
•Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with specialization in Computer Science / IT Security/ Cyber Security.

Work Experience
• 2 to 3 years of working experience in IT or Cyber Security domains specifically in cyber threat and vulnerability management and cyber threat intelligence.
Skills/ KnowledgeCompetencies:•Reasonableunderstanding of end-to-end cyber threat and vulnerability management processes (e.g.;VM lifecycle) about on-prem IT infrastructure security, application security and cloud security.•Reasonableunderstanding of security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Centre for Internet

We are looking for a problem solver computer programmer who creates the front end of Consumer Services. The front end will implement al the user interface in the responsive websites. The implementation of code into the Tag Manager (for analytics and SAAS solutions) is important.

This role will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. Documentation is essential for the sustained growth of digital products.

• Architect and implement web/mobile UI/UX based on provided wireframes and business requirements. 
• Implement the front end from the current solutions, and connect the new assets into microservices from the backends. 
• Manage the developments and maintenance for APIs, and have a good understanding of Soap/ REST web service.
• Excellent understanding in HTML, CSS, and Js, understanding UX requirements. 
• Ensure the right documentation for the future product development. 
• Ensuring code quality and standards while meeting deadlines and delivering targets set by the product team. 

Collaboration & people development 

• Communication skills to participate in the product development cycle. 
• Working closely with product managers and data analysts to improve the overall product, the design team to improve the user experience, and the front-end team for design implementation.

Education/Cretification 

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 

Professional Experience

- Minimum Aroundof 4 to 8 years of production application design and development experience.  

- Front-end development experience using programming languages such as VUE or Angular Framework, JavaScript, HTML5, XML,JSON, CSS, Ajax, jQuery. Knowledge about frameworks like boostrap are value for the role.
- Knowledge in Tag Containers like GTM
- Experienced in continuous delivery and automation testing.
