GitWe are looking for a PHP Developer who thinks of himself as a problem solver. He/ she can efficiently and quickly write code in a timely and scalable way. This candidate will be able to test the code and adjust it where necessary. They should also be experienced in contributing to the whole software design lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Proper understanding of MVC design patterns, OOPS concepts, and Frontend technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks - Code ignitor / Laravel.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases and their declarative query languages.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
- JavaScript Frameworks - jQuery/Angular
- Knowledge of version control systems like GIT (mandatory).
- Must be self-driven and highly organized.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to the functional requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and support programs/tools for internal and external clients.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve errors related to their applications.
- Define project planning and execution and on-time delivery.
- Familiarity with Agile project Methodologies.
Responsibilities :
- Understand requirements and develop solutions.
- Write clean, well-designed code.
- Produce detailed specifications.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Follow industry best practices and work with teams to develop solutions.
- Work with business analysts to produce reliable estimates and ensure the client's requirements and understood and documented.
- Deliver multiple projects using a team of developers.
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.

Color Neon is a French brand that designs and manufactures custom LED neon signs. A customer sends us their text, logo or artwork and we turn it into a made-to-measure sign: they choose the font, colour and size, preview it in 3D, and see it on their own wall before they order.
We sell direct across France and Europe from colorneon.com. More than 10,000 homes, bars, restaurants, shops and event planners have bought from us. Every sign is handcrafted, energy-efficient LED neon with a 2-year warranty.
The business runs on Shopify. We built our own 3D neon configurator so customers can design their sign in the browser, and we work AI-first: the team uses Claude and Codex every day to build, test and ship.
We are now opening our first engineering seat in India, in Indore. Until now every technical decision has been made remotely from France. That changes with this hire: one engineer, sitting with the founder, owning the Shopify apps, the storefront rebuild and the configurator. One product, long term, with real ownership.
