MTN

MTN is a pan-African mobile operator with the strategic intent of ‘Leading digital solutions for Africa's progress'. We have 295 million customers in 19 markets and are inspired by our belief that everyone deserves the benefits of a modern, connected life. Inspired by Africa's potential, we are committed to bridging the digital divide, furthering financial inclusion and advancing the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through our core business activities and our support to governments, communities, and customers. We were established in South Africa at the dawn of democracy in 1994 as a leader in transformation. Since then, we have grown by investing in sophisticated communication infrastructure, developing new technologies and by harnessing the talent of our diverse people to offer services to communities in Africa and the Middle East. Our strategic intent is Ambition 2025: Leading digital solutions for Africa's progress, harnessing the power of MTN – our leading brand, footprint, connectivity infrastructure and technology platforms. Our strategy is anchored in building the largest and most valuable platform business with a clear focus on Africa. This rests on a scale connectivity and infrastructure business – mobile and fixed access networks in the consumer, enterprise and wholesale segments. We are accelerating implementation through partnerships. Our strategy is supported and funded through enhanced cost and capex efficiencies.
